DAY 14

3:54 AM’ woke up, Omkaar and gayatri mantra chanting
It was raining, at first a thought came to mind- lets not go outside for today…but the next moment inner voice came- No don’t compromise with the discipline!! So came out with an umbrella and went for a walk (3km, did not run due to rain)
Workout at home- hindu pushup, surya namaskar
Bath, Breakfast, newspaper
Prepared lunch and had it at 11:30, Vajrasan after meal
Watched some videos of Sadguru
Russian lesson
Could not study as much as I expected. Need to channelize the energy.

Shirshasana, Siddhasan and meditation

Evening workout-Regular pushups, diamond pushup, burpees, squats and plank
Dinner done, now going to sleep.

Today’s learning-

  1. Being in comfort zone kills
  2. Keep learning, keep moving and keep moving, no matter what!- I have been observing a wasp in the kitchen busy making its house for last 2-3 days. She keeps flying tirelessly- Picking a ball of clay, flying to my kitchen, then gracefully start making a mud house and keep repeating until the house is built- ball by ball, bit by bit… And I know she will not stop to this one, she will start another one once the first is complete- maybe in next season too and throughout the life.

Watching the wasp engaged tirelessly I remembered an excerpt of a verse in Aitreya Upanishad-

चरैवेति चरैवेति (Keep moving, keep moving…)

If a wasp with lesser intelligence can be so committed to its duty, we are the most intelligent species in the earth! We can do wonders…

Hey brother can you tell me if I start doing some yoga like you do what improvement I can get

Meditation will give you peace of mind and ability to control the negative thoughts, it provides control on subconscious mind with practice and much more.

Moolbandha-improves your ability to retain vital energy and helps to check nightfall
Jalandharbandha-improves pranic energy, good for thyroid and stamina
Uddiyanabandha- transmute vital energy towards sahastar chakra, flow of vital energy upwards
Mahabandha- when you do above three simultaneously
Mahamudra- similar to Moolbandha
Surya namaskar - overall fitness of whole body, combines several yogasanas so good
Shirsasana- blood flows towards brain so more oxygen to it. Good for improving mental capacity, health of hairs and teeth etc.

I would highly recommend you to practice them and experience the benefit yourself. (Many benefits maybe subjective depends on other variables like lifestyle habits, thought process etc. Good thing is there is no side effects😊)
In my opinion the crux is to engage and excercise body, brain and intellect…
So you should try it for sure.

Peace

What is this ?..

I am still exploring but with my limited experience of Yoga I can say that-
In practice of meditation, with deep concentration on your breath with practice you can enter to dream state where subconscious mind is at work. Here you are concious and aware of the state of dreaming.
These dreams are hard to control but I think one can control them with practice.

I am still learning brother.

Peace!
