You don’t cold shower cause you don’t like cold water? You think people start cold showering because they like cold water? I get that in winter at times, but you don’t have to shower at night.
You don’t meditate cause it’s annoying and you don’t have storage space on your phone? It takes time to get into meditation, you’re going to like it as soon as you begin. Besides, apps help but you don’t even need an app. Even a 5 minute timer is enough.

Basically you’re almost doing it right, but you’re being too easy on yourself. Letting yourself slip up in small ways because you reason that it’s a small thing that won’t affect you. It’s a lie, it will.
Man up man. You’re listening to your mind asking you to take things easy.

Hmm, this addiction is very hard to break. Everyone here gave their tips and they are really great and awesome. You tried everything but you failed.
IDK if this will help, but let me tell you how I am overcoming my urges.

1. I don’t use my mobile or laptop much anymore. I am only using the laptop to study accounts.
2. I blast music at high volume whenever I get urges
3. Exercising helps you get rid of urges.
4. Since my exams are coming, I only study these days. Now my max limit of studying for 1 day is 5 hours.
5. Always observe your RC companion users’ streak on mobile. Target the highest streak guy in your app and chase him. Decide and say to yourself “I will beat this guy”.
6. Use notion. Notion is a productivity tool that is advanced and powerful. I use the notion to track my daily progress.
7. Everyday, track your progress buddy. Let me show you an example of my notion daily tracking.
   
   

So this helps me keep my journey in progress.

See my screen time. I spent 7 hours on youtube. Those hours I spent on accounts study videos and tutorials.

I would say, the best way to get rid of this addiction is to not think about PMO and NO-FAP. If you keep on thinking about it, you will get obsessed.

If a depressed guy watches more and more depression videos, within the next 20 minutes he will suicide because he got heavily depressed by these videos.

If a cancer patient watches more cancer videos, he will get scared and his cancer will grow.

If you believe in yourself, you will do it.
