The Indian concept Brahmacharya (Hindi: เคฌเฅเคฐเคนเฅเคฎเคเคฐเฅเคฏ) and Western concept Celibacy are not exactly same. Celibacy means a state of being unmarried and sexually abstinent. but Brahmacharya is stricter, it not only includes oneโs physical activities, but also his/her thoughts and words. They sayโ
(A Brahmachari should not think about people of opposite sex, speak about s** life. romantically mix with anyone of opposite s**, look lustfully, talk intimately with women. plan to engage in sexual intercourse. endeavour for s** life, engage in s** life, encourage otherโs lust.)
According to Swami Vivekanandaโs description: โChastity in thought, word, and deed, always, and in all conditions, is what is called Brahmacharya.โ
I would like to share this little thought of mine:
I thought about this for some time: What are the benefits of PMO? there are absolutely no benefits. No amount of PMO had ever made me happy.
No amount of PMO had ever gave me that feeling of fulfilment for which I strive to reach every single day.
PMO knows only how to take away but it never gives back, and even if it looks it is โgivingโ something back, itโs only takes it away shortly after.
It takes away health, time, energy, it destroyes families, it creates only anxiety, deppresion and fear.
It canโt replace true relationships between men and women since those are built upon trust and sincere love for each other. PMO is not even about hate - the core idea of this addiction is apathy.
PMO is about giving up and rotting away, soaking out everything from its hosts, and replacing it with apathy. Just enjoying simple pleasures and mediocrity, not doing anything too dangerous or extreme or good with life.
It is a disgusting addiction and not good for anything.
To anybody with fetishesโฆ Fetish is a very rare conditionโฆ I donโt actually think many people have itโฆ I totally agree with @The_integrous_one and @nofapstar123โฆ It might be a triggering question (Which it ofcourse did)โฆno offence buddy, it was totally unnecessary.
