Winter Arc, Check-in
2024-10-13T18:30:00Z
First check-in of the winter arc. Just wanted to reflect a bit.
Tomorrow will be my last basketball tournament of the year. Praying it goes well. Perhaps my last basketball tournament of college life. It depends.
Itβs crazy that I can remember it like yesterday, talking to my friends in the forum. Sharing worries and strategies for NEET prep. The late nights and the brotherhood. And soon Iβll be stepping into my final year of medical school. Thatβsβ¦crazy.
Thanks to God, first of all. Without Him, nothing would be possible. He is the reason I do well and I do well for Him.
Another thing is, after this week is done, Iβll rejoin the gym. Iβm going to try and go all out for the remainder of the year, until I have study leave (around midway December) and see what physique update I can post.
Thatβs the beauty of consistency. Iβve noticed that Iβm getting better slowly, bit by bit. The thing is, itβs slowly but surely
Another thing I want to improve on: putting myself more out there in more uncomfortable situations. The people around me are lazy and during hospital work they always try to skip it/do as little work as possible. I end up doing extra work at times partly because I enjoy learning and partly to avoid our entire group getting into trouble. Well, there are two aspects to this:
- The others in the group see me as a leader. They expect me to take decisions and initiative.
- I get tired of having to lead and take initiative all the time.
But as I reflect. I realize. Nothing is an accident. God has plans for everything.
So I resolve, hence forth, to take the utmost advantage of every opportunity I get. Leadership is a gift, not a burden.
Currently reading : Youβll know what Iβm reading if youβve kept up with my posts. Let me just say that book is a goldmine.
Keep going. Faster. Farther. Better.
