Keeping religious perspective aside, marrying someone with whom you never had a close romantic relationship isn’t that great of an idea.
Because in today’s time being good friends and being in relationship are two very different things. Since male-female friendships have increased.
So and so might be your own personal opinion but for us Muslims our Lord have instructed us ways to live our life for us from his wisdom, in every aspect of life, on how to wake up ,how to pray, what not to do in business, how to be with your neighbour, relatives etc what not to do, all these permissions and prohibitions are indirectly good for us and teaches us how to live our life with disipline which will give us success in this life and in the hereafter.
Coming to the topic of fornication. this act has been seen as indecent and inappropriate throughout the history in almost every respectable civilisation. A well respected man or a Woman never engages in these types of inappopriate things almost in every religion fornication is looked down.
Fornication destroys soceities, it disrupts the family structure. If you would look at the stats the number of divorces are high among the ones who fornicated vs those who didnt before marriage. Also fornication breaks down the lineage aswell.
The same religion advocates againt the PMO but this modern society supports these inappropriate acts regardless of the harm it does.
