It means repeated, regular effort towards a precise goal.
Whatâs the point of discipline?
Discipline is used to develop a personal quality, such as singing, running, reading, controlling desires, meditatingâŚ
The more a man practices discipline, the more he develops self-control, self-worth, mental strength and pride.
A man who degenerates is the opposite.
He loses his discipline, etc.
An effective discipline program requires modesty and realism.
If itâs too hard, it wonât work on the weak days, and you wonât feel the need to do it.
The most important thing is not to succeed perfectly in every session, but to be regular, by measuring out your efforts.
There are days when I can run faster, and days when I need to run slower.
Yes, there are days when I miss my discipline.
But Iâm not going to destroy myself over it.
Itâs smarter and more efficient to accept my mistakes, and focus my energy on the next opportunities to progress.
Because Iâve got a lot of diferent sessions to do in a single day, so Iâll get the next one right.
