What was your longest streak of NOFAP

What was your longest streak of NOFAP??
Mine was 70 days.
I have been trying to do NOFAP for last 2 years but after every single week or two I end up miserably.
Now this app and platform is totally unique and new to me and i always wanted to create a platform like this where you have a whole community motivating you not to relapse.
It is my 2nd day and this time I am pretty sure that I am not going to relapse.

About 2 weeks, it was when I was on a trip with limited internet :smiley:
but that was like 8 years ago lol, miss those days…
btw I’m on day 5 now… maybe it’s time for a new record?

  3. Are you religious. Was your motivation from being religious ?

  4. How did you managed the to not get trigger from sexualied media, such as Rated movies, Instagram etc.

I have 28 years , i am single but I pretend marry in a right time , yes i am a religious person and YES this motivate me 100% , I guard my eyes and i use filters , and if something make me fall ,I exclude from my life i don’t need instagram to live , I don’t need some series and movies full of triggers to Live , this is a Path to Freedom

My name is Eduardo , I’m from Brazil , I’m 28 years old and
I’ve been on nofap since 2014 and I’ve managed to stay clean for almost 5 years (without P and without M), lately I’ve been 100 days and currently I’m 20 days old, before that I was addicted to P and M for 11 years between 2003 to 2014 and used it every day during that period, I had depression, anxiety, phobias and Panic Syndrome , with so much suffering because P and others things in my Life, Then I got attached to the Creator that with the Strength of His Majesty answered me and put in my path a site similar to the Rewire Companion that helped me out of the bondage of Addiction a site called GuardYourEyes and I got a streak of 4 ½ years

Here are the tips:

  1. GUARDING YOUR EYES

Guarding yourself of triggers is essential for get away from Pmo addiction and not just for 90 days, but for the rest of your life, for this the following measures must be adopted:

UNINSTALL INSTAGRAM OR DISABLE SOCIAL NETWORKS THAT MAKE YOU FALL

At least 50 percent of falls I hear in social media come from instagram
even if the person doesn’t follow any instagram model, Instagram puts them without you asking for these models on your screen, it happened to me on social networks and I know it must have happened to you too

Beware of netflix, opt for other streaming services that have fewer triggers, netflix is ​​champion in triggers!
By the way , I recommend you exclude netflix and anothers movies and series with heavy triggers forever

Watch out for some news sites, know where you step, yes have serious sites of news without triggers

And on the street don’t look at women who are dressed provocatively, as this will lead you to fall hours later (as it enters your mind through your eyes and your brain will use it against you later), look away you don’t have to look for none of these triggers

I hope that the tips above can help you just as it helped me, I want to remind you that the 90 days are just the beginning of the reboot is not the end, so the importance of always having goals, even when completing 1 year, 2, 3 is not the Finally, never accommodate never ! 180 days, in 2017. I was Angry after Breakup & could’ve fapped a lot but my Anger kept Aside any Thought of Girls. Now I’m in a long-distance Relationship, don’t need porn that lead me to fapping. :man_facepalming:t2:

Mine is now 45 days. Really begin to enjoy the same now. Can do more push ups. Feel more power in the body. More confidence and glow on face. Most important I got a community to whom I can relate with. Thanks guys for being here.

@EduardoIsraeli i read all but you mentioned about anxiety, kind of inside fear. Will it disappear over time becouse of no fap and meditation? How it is in your case?

Most of times i relapsed due to instagram,
I think you’re right. I must uninstall it.
In this quarantine to keep myself busy i started reading books (i think that also help somehow)
Yeah guarding the eyes is the best way to not to relapse. All we need is to use social media platforms as low as we can.
