Weather Forecast for April 2nd
Good morning, survivors, and welcome to your weather update for April 2nd, in the Perfection Nevada Survival Challenge.
After the wild conditions of yesterday, we have a major shift in the forecast. The temperature is set to rise today, with a high of 105°F and a low of 70°F. The desert sun will be unforgiving, so make sure you’re taking the necessary precautions to avoid heatstroke and dehydration. Shade and water are your best friends today.
There will be no rain today, which means the ground will dry out significantly. However, this can bring its own set of challenges — with the dry earth, it will be easier to move around, but that also means the Graboids will be able to detect vibrations more easily. Watch your step and avoid any unnecessary noise as you move through the terrain.

Perfection Nevada Survival Challenge: Day One Closes with Hard-Earned Survivor Badges
- Perfection, Nevada – The inaugural Perfection Nevada Survival Challenge has completed its first grueling day, and against all odds, the participants have survived. In a stunning display of grit and resourcefulness, the contestants managed to navigate the perilous terrain and, most importantly, evade the infamous Graboids that lurk beneath the desert sands.

I’m a newcomer to Perfection Nevada. Before learning how to fight the Graboids I must learn how to avoid them and choose the terrain of the fight. Yesterday I saw some trails on the new terrain, which tempted me to follow cause it seemed to be easier, but looking up ahead I noticed some signals of Graboid’s attack. They know the most used paths, and are ready to attack there. I then realized that in order to survive I must create new paths, and be more aware of my surroundings. For a moment I was terrified, that I found myself in that situation fighting for my life, but soon I remembered that that’s my reality and wishing it away won’t help. I must embrace it and even have fun with it. So I’ll learn how to fight, train my draw to be quicker and aim better, but willingness to fight that it’s going to steady my hand. So I’ll prepare during the calm times, but even if the fight comes before I’m ready, I’ll give my all and go down shooting.
