Dude I’am muslim that’s why I mentioned ramadan. Honestly except in 2018 I always managed to stay sober during this time. It’s been 33 days, I’m free urges and I’m focusing on my artistic skills right now. All I hope is to be able to spend at least 2 month without pmo

As a muslim it is very tough to resist these temptations where our parents don’t allow us to get married early. They always go with tradition culture and what society expects.

Islam allows us both men and women to get married as soon as we reach the age of puberty.

I am 23 male and it is very difficult especially in today’s age where there is so much fitnah and triggers.

I can’t imagine women who have crossed 20 and 25 and still their parents not supporting them in this situation.

Especially here in India they focus on studies So much, over something which a person needs at the age of around 20, and that is a connection. A sexual need is something which Allah made a need for us. Provided we engage in it within the boundaries of shariah.

I feel you, to be honest I’m not really really religious, I fast ramadan every year but it’s the only thing that I practice. I’d rather focus on being the best kindest person I can but practicing is not really my thing. Well following the basic mandatory things in Islam doesn’t mean we are religious.

Ok I pray all five times prayer Alhamdulillah but mostly I don’t pray on time and that isn’t something negotiable(meaning I must all 5times prayer on time because it is an order from Allah), Allah created us for the sole purpose of worshipping him. By praying we don’t become pious and a scholar. We are humans and we are bound to commit sins and the best of sinners are those who repent. If we get married early which is halal and we can also fulfill our desires.

I am not forcing you or anything. It is solely your choice. I am just fullfilling my obligation as a muslim and that is to guide my brothers and sisters to the best of my knowledge.

Perhaps one day you can consider practicing Islam and taste the sweetness of faith.

My highest streak is 21 days and I am currently on second highest streak of 19days .

In your situation, you have downloaded videos, meaning you are saving it for later, but still able to go more days, So you need to change your mindset, that you don’t need pmo, in fact pmo will cause you to have less sex and problems during sex.

It is the fear that makes us addicted, thinking that what will I do if I stopped watching porn. Or how will my life be when I stop pmo. That fear causes us to remain hooked.

Believe me, you don’t need porn to feel good, in fact you would far more better off without porn.

I’m almost there. Tomorrow will be the 35th day, by far the longest streak outside of ramadan. My urges are coming back slowly and I sincerely hope that ramadan will help me with that. I have never experienced more then 40 days without porn and everytime the urges are so bad that I can’t control my self.
