PrDr's diary- The road to defeat the self

Yeah sister, I understand, its just the way you talked about it that I found it a bit humorous. Parents always advice us to drink milk before sleeping here in India, but we tend to ignore it once we start to live alone.

I’m including a new goal of decreasing use of this site since I spent nearly 1.5 hrs here today earlier. Could’ve done something productive in that time. Never mind, I’ll try harder tomorrow.

I woke up around 8 today, and have been on this site since. Its over 9 right now, I’m going to study … Would probably study 2 hrs insted of 3 in the first shift but then would follow my normal routine through the day. I still have a lot in my hands. Since I havw visited this site already, I’ll come here tomorrow now . Good day everyone.

There’s nothing like that bro. I woke up 2 hrs later and then instead of doing anything came here, and see I have returned despite saying I won’t come here today LOL. Clearly I lack self-control. But I’ll get better. You and @debellator are 2 of my closest friends, so talking and listening to both of you is always heart-warming for me. Keep springing everything on me LOL.

Thanks bro, could’ve studied more but I was feeling burnt out. Reason why I could not perform that well in mocks either today. It was that sort of day when I was not at my best. Wokr up late, tired, unfocussed and not performing at my levels. But it’ll definitely get better.

I have taken a break from completing all my targets today, but I’ll still study as much as I can. What I mean by break is I’m taking it easy today, spending time with my family so watching TV with them, eating and talking with them and also listening to music and going out to some temple. Not tying any timing to anything or defining any task for any time period today. Oh its a break day, because this is the day I was born. I turn twenty-eight today. It sounds so odd to be at this age and still here, but I’m doing what I can. Probably I’ll take a look at my tasks too and make necessary amendments to be more effective, I mean grasping things and scoring better is more important than number of hours I give to studies. From tomorrow, I’ll get back to my original tasks and hopefully I’ll crack all the upcoming riddles of my life with ease. I hope you are not angry with me @debellator .

Always good to take a break once in a while. Get back to things tomorrow

Yes bro I hope so, I enjoyed it like that since I probably won’t have any breaks for next 35-36 days.

Thank you so much brother. Probably this was my most satisying and meaningful birthday, having been wished by only my closest people. My beautiful family, 2 obvious suspects from here LOL, and surprisingly that kind woman from Iran who broke internet laws of her country to send me a birthday mail. I’m so grateful that you guys exist in my life. Thank you so much. :people_hugging: I might have gained 20 kgs today so gotta exercise regularly from tomorrow LOL.

I’ll upload some of my favourite songs here. These songs have helped me a lot during my tough times, always giving me a reason to hold on and fight. So, I’m posting them herewith a hope that they can be of same utility to atleast a few more people here.

2 of them are in Hindi, but their meaning is given there in the description.
