Hey @Brahmachari_17. Great topic ypu have here. I sadly donât really have videoâs to share also no articles, however I wanna support your topic. So here is a short version of my story.
Well my journey to nofap is a rather accidental one. It started 5 years ago where I just abstained from pmo when I was in Germany. As I told some off the guys new country= new me, but it sadly lasted only 70 days not the whole 3 months I was there. So in that time it felt good and I was on and off of the habit. Didnât make high streaks. Maybe 2 weeks if I was lucky and then relapse and so on and so on. I discovered the nofap movement about 2 years after that and did a little research about it and got the same pld same old with the hormones and how people doubt it is working etc⌠Not delving into it that much, but just felt abstaining qas good and I felt free of porn not having to hide anything for anyone. All sneaky and guilty type.
Then the year after that I was on a job until last year September and far from home and I applied the same story new situation= new me. I have reached 2 months and in a moments weakness relapsed and never got out of it.
Till I went back home and after a family vacation I felt more dedicated to beat pmo. I was just tired of being stuck and just overall just wanna go on away from my past and just be a new me. Yes it wasnât easy there are still days were I doubt myself and have to stop my mind from running away with questions. But I gotten a great deal out of this journey. I have gotten rid of a past thatâs holding me back and also now in the hard process of proving my mind wrong with the procrastinating questions.
Well thatâs my story I reached a 148 well almost 149 days. Time for change is now!
My tips I will share later as this is a long post and wanna finish of an awesome day with my final things for the day.

Actually knowing about relapse of people and how it happened would also help us to know what mistakes to avoid or how we can get over existing n do some stupid things. Like your laptop experience which teaches us to be more patient n carefull while operating our electronic devices or say internet.

While telling your story you have use some words which may trigger someone. You know, the words that we search up to satisfy our urges.

Suppose you relapsed after a decent streak of 30days or 50days. Then after reading your story beginners might get demotivated and think that it doesnât get easier to control urges even after 30days and they may eventually relapse.
But if you want share your story of relapse and you think that this can help someone then simply post it in the form of a tip. Like,
⢠Donât surf the internet, triggers can come from
anywhere.
⢠Delete Instagram OR Unfollow models if you canât delete
it.
⢠Donât surf youtube.
ETC.
Did you get the idea?
These points will give us a hint that you relapsed because of Instagram or youtube. And we shouldnât sufer it. Thatâs all.
Hey guys. Sorry I know I said I will give tips and I didnât forget so here is some that I think might help.
You see this is YOUR journey and YOU need to do what is necessary to beat it. YOU know YOURSELF and nobody can tell YOU anything different only guide some of YOUR thoughts.
See YOU have to have YOUR set of rules and YOU need the basics to start it off, but YOU need to do the effort.
For p* :

AVOID use of electronic devices when you feel the urge.

AVOID the use of electronic devices in the bedroom at night or places where you have watched p* before.

USE your elctronic device for the purpose you intend and stop use if the task is completed. If you really struggle alot use porn blocker apps.
For example with no. 3 if you need to google something for a project or just for info if you donât know about something just google it.
Say I wanna Google how to plant carrots. I google it and read about it and stop use after I am finished reading the article about it.
- Stop the use of it immediately. Donât think to downgrade it and a downgrade later again to think it will help you to stop it completely later. No it ainât like smoking if you have smoked a packet a day you would switch to half a packet and then 1 cigarette and stop( besides this also sometimes fails and you still are smoking or drinking). To beat a addiction you have to commit and this method never helps in beating porn. Say no to nudes, to videoâs, audios or anything related in triggering you to watch porn all at once!

1.Remember what I started out with and I emphasized YOU. This why I did it. YOUR BODY ,YOUR MIND, YOUR CHOICES, YOUR JOURNEY. So what you gonna do you are gonna make it your own and beat this thing and you have to find your way with the basics and some of our help, but you have to make the time make the choices to complete the journey and while you are at it have tons of fun on this journey to keep you motivated to make it easier for yourself to stay om this journey.
2.Beat those thoughts of I am just gonna do it for the last time today and start 100% on this journey tomorrow . Because you might not habe tomorrow or that thought will stay with you and that tomorrow that your journey will start will never come.

Leave your past behind start looking at today and take each day one at a time as they come. Stick to today only and still stay at the thought of today is day 1 no matter how far you go.

Donât fret on how many days you wanna do or days you have completed as this could discourage you as you think it might not be able to accomplished say 100 day if you are on day 7 and stay stuck with the thought if 7 days are hard how will day 100 be. So have a goal that is good yes, thatâs great, but forget a little about your counter.
That is what I have for now and all I have left to say is stay strong, have faith in your self and stay strong within your faith and good luck and het out there and be awesome and stay awesome!

The is two tipes of nofap on this forum.
The Nogap(Nofap) and Nofap.
What do I mean with Nogap(Nofap) ?
It seems that guys ever increasingly focus on a lot of stuff whilst on nofap. Take the post for example the guy is concerned about chicks for most of it. Other guys just wanna jump onto a productive train the whole time and want be as productive(busy) to enrich their lives.
Sure it is good, but sometimes this tends to bite you a bit as you start dropping one challenge or one habit after the other, because you donât create a gap for yourself to chill out a second. As this spells disaster if you sit still.
In all technically the guy here well creates a lot of expectations for other guys, but still is kinda obessed about sex.
And this to me doesnât feel right.
Nofap:
I have realised Nofap ainât a game you play lightly and yes there is a lot of falseness within and not much is known as not all guys experience the good of it. See there is negatives about it which is normal at most. Most guys get nightfalls, blue balls etc. And donât feel great about nofap as they feel sick. See it is the hormonal changes etc. In the body.
Not going to to expand much into it. I donât wanna discredit nofap, because Nofap should actually be for you to get sexual healing. To destroy fantasies about sex and rebuild your body to a normal life where only sex without porn and masterbation can lead to a healthier sexlife . To heal the body of the damage braught on by masterbation (the causes of ed or pied).
Yes, sure it is build around sex, but it is a means to rebuild your views about it and to respect woman and her body for her to recognised as another human not as a âchickâ you can toy around with.
Sure, you can be motivated to change your life in other ways as well. Through aquiring more knowledge or faith or do exercise.
It is not force upon you to do so, but you do it out of your own.
Like I said this is your journey you donât have to aim for perfection and be that Nogap kinda guy. You can be who you are and truely test yourself and commit to you and the journey.
Hope this still falls it the topic and I just wanna break open what we must know and truely be honest with one another as the Nofap community canât stand on false hope or beliefs! We have to be in unison on what nofap is and what it means, but we have to have our own ways on how we deal withit. Sure I attacked this guys argument and how he experience it, but isnât it too fake?

One canât heal completely if his main aim is to attract girls. For eg. There is a guy ( I donât wanna reveal his name but you may also know him ) who has a streak of 800+days. He posted his journey on message board so I read it. And I found out that he is not at all healed. Because he still sees girls in a sexual way. And he saw P-Subs throughout his journey. Just my not masterbating you canât be healed. It is more than that. You have to clear your mind also.
