Good day today. I felt emotional numbness in the evening but exercise took care of it. Believe you me, exercise works magic on mood!. It’s your best pal against depression and demotivation. Exercise is an addiction. And the high is more awesome than any drug. You just have to develop a taste of this awesome drug. Be high on exercise. Be high on life. Don’t be low on fake high of PMO.

What you need is to avoid free time and boredom

1.Everyday in the morning of a new day or every night before a new day… Make a plan what you will do that day for 24 hrs Make a to do list for everyday and make it so busy but stress free that you don’t have time to waste… Time is a precious commodity. No money can buy back even the 1 second you waste. But it is your time and energy that you give someone in a job or business to earn money… Time and energy are your most valuable resources.

2.Start playing a physical sports eg basketball, football, swimming, martial arts, running, exercise… Anything that exhausts your Body. Whenever I feel emotional numbness or demotivation/ sadness in the evening, exercise takes care of it. Believe you me, exercise works magic on mood!. It’s your best pal against depression and demotivation. Exercise is an addiction. And the high is more awesome than any drug. You just have to develop a taste of this awesome drug. Be high on exercise. Be high on life. Don’t be low on fake high of PMO. :fire:

3.Study everyday even if it is as less as 30 minutes… Make a habit of studying… You need DISCPLINE IS LIFE TO SUCCEED IN ANYTHING

4.Avoid triggers… Don’t watch movies, series or animes…delete Instagram, reddit, Facebook and social media… DON’T YOU EVER DARE TO SCROLL SOCIAL MEDIA MINDLESSLY!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
Watch something educational and motivational in YouTube but only see subscriptions page and avoid HOME page and YT SHORTS!!!

5.Meditate everyday. Sit down. Take a deep breath and think that porn and masturbation is a poison that drains life force out of you and makes you really miserable afterwards… But you feel awesome after exercise… Real happiness is not in orgasm but it lies at the post workout rest.

6.Whenever a triggering bad though comes into your find… Immediately think about something else… Think about God and ask His help. Take a deep breath and pray to the One and Only God.

If you are sitting down, then stand up, change your position, lie down or start walking… Drink a glass of water… The strongest of urges will have effect on you for 12 minutes if you detach yourself from the source of the trigger. You don’t need to do NOPMO for 90 or 180 days, just that 12 minutes. Rest is life. Work hard and enjoy it (not destroy it by fapping).

7.Put your computer in TV lounge or a place that is busy in your house. Don’t use mobile after 9 pm… Don’t be alone…

THE MORE YOU FOLLOW THESE 7 STEPS, THE MORE YOU WILL SUCCEED IN NOFAP AND LIFE!

TRY TRY AGAIN… don’t regret relapse. You will relapse before achieving complete success. Never think the last relapse was your last one. Always be aware of your actions that may lead you to slip and correct your actions.

I overdid the exercise in the morning and hence spent the whole day exhausted. A contributing factor to my exhaustion was also my diet control. Now I understand. I will not starve myself to lose weight. I will continue focusing on eating healthy and doing exercise twice everyday. 5 to 6 times a week. Man exercise really is addictive :joy:.

Well you can starve yourself in intermittent fasting, but then eat well when it’s time for your meal.

Right… That intermittent fasting thing I planned was just my way of losing weight unhealthily fast… It would require lots of self control and its many levels above me for now… Yesterday I fasted intermittently for 12 hrs and it was tough😂… Maybe I’ll start small with 8 hrs… Thanks for the advice bro

I take just two meals a day one around 1 pm and other around 8 pm, apart from this I have peanut butter and one glass milk around 11am.
On good days I don’t snack in between.
But both the meals are heavy, this way it’s easier to control.
But I am used to not having breakfast now, I instead spend time working out and focusing in habits.
It took quite some time to build this.
My sister follows similar plan, she takes two means one around 10 am and other around 4-5 pm, that’s it.

I took a break from exercise and study today. I felt like refueling my body. Also I got 99.9 F fever so I took panadol tablets. Now I’m feeling better. Let’s see if tomorrow my health status allows me to exercise or not. If I will, I’ll do in moderation.

Check in Day 30 :innocent::tada: Alhamdulillah

At last 1/6th of the journey is complete. All thanks to Allah Almighty Who gave me strength and will and showed me the right path. All praise belongs to Allah Almighty.

Today with 99.9 F fever kept under control by 3 times a day 2 tablets of panadol, I exercised moderately twice today. Some days require effort, other days demand rest. I will probably not exercise tomorrow morning. At last my habit of exercise is strong enough to resist changes in mood and even health.

Also, I felt today that my mind ( NAFS ) is starting to obey me. I tell it to choose daal over chicken, it does not talk back. It accepts my choice/order like a good little servant that it is and should be. Still it’s level 1. There are many more levels ahead.

In 30 days I lost 5.7 Kgs of weight from 103.5 kg at Day 0 to 97.8 to Day 30 today. Alhamdulillah

These 30 days I never had a single complete urge!. Thats because I avoided triggers as much as possible and whenever I’m triggered by an image or an internal self generated thought, I immediately shift my focus to Allah Almighty and ask for His Mercy, Forgiveness and Help. And He does help. Thank you Allah Almighty, I know you are watching over me and everyone else in this universe.
SPIRITUALITY is the ANSWER to DOMINATE over the DESIRES of the FLESH.

The only way

The real fight is against nafs. ( inner self that is a loser). Feed your soul and good self ( innerself that is a winner).

Food for nafs is PMO, pleasure, sins, gluttony, no self control and no discpline.

Food for soul is self control, discpline, good deeds and remembrance of Allah Almighty.

Feed your soul. Starve your nafs. That is the only way to succeed in life and be truly happy. Winning against PMO is just the lowest of levels.

Check in Day 32

Now the real battle starts. Today I felt physical urges strong enough to shake my conviction for a few seconds. But Alhamdulillah, I chose right and closed my mobile and took an afternoon nap.

Now urges have been more frequent. I can feel losing my grip on my essential routine tasks like reading Quran and exercising. I must not forget, whatever happens, these are my number 1 priority.

If something takes me away from my goal to walk on the righteous path, it’s a test and I must always be aware of new and innovative attacks of Satan. Satan is mankind’s worst enemy. May Allah Almighty protect us all from the influence of satan, Ameen.
