Lucid wet dream

Hey there,
I’m on my longest streak ever(16d)
I am also a lucid dreamer and last night I had a lucid dream, so I summoned a girl to have sex with.
I was such aroused, she did not even touch me that I had the most powerful orgasm I’ve ever had, more than 20 seconds, and she was just looking.
Then I woke up (I thought but in fact I was still dreaming) and jerked off 5-6-7-8 times because of frustration and how I loved the feeling, I was trying to find out if I jerked in dream or not still in the dream. But then I really woke up to find I did not touch myself in real life but my boxer was wet.
I really thought I was jerking in real life but I dont have a guy who makes omelette at home or even a old driver so does it count as a relapse since I didnot do it in real life?

I was not fully conscious since I wanted a nice girl and my ex showed up, that proves I was not in full control since i would never even in real life have sex with her, so I guess I answered my own question

I don’t even know what to say about wetdreams and lucid dreams anymore yesterday I had 2 wetdreams and today had another one, I don’t even know if they are lucid dreams or just regular dreams but one thing I keep in mind is that I do not choose to have them neither do I want them they just manifest in my brain alot and I mean alot! I do not count them as relapse.

Please see this: Should I reset my counter after a wet dream?

No need to reset as this also happens to me

@rockon hey bro, I used to lucid dream a lot and as you’ve kinda mentioned, there are different levels to lucid dreams , ranging from absolute control to minimal control. I used to use lucid dreaming for getting laid, and here are my thoughts on it… I used to do wilds ‘wake induced lucid dreams’, and I used to go into them at times with the only objective being to shag a dream being. The problem with that was that I was clearly still obsessing over sex, and allowing that obsession to be my only focus, and in my opinion, stopping this addiction goes deeper that just not jacking off, it’s about changing the thinking processes that got you there. So if you’re being honest with yourself, the question is, "in a low state of consciousness, did your addictions just hijack your dream, or are you allowing your thoughts to dwell on sex while you’re awake… after all, I’m also an alcoholic, but have been clean for a long time now, but sometimes I still dream that I’m drinking… I obviously don’t count this as a relapse, but if I had to start thinking and longing for a drink while being awake, that would eventually lead to relapse.

Basically my thoughts are… use this a time to reflect… have you been obsessing in your waking life over sex, and did that cause this dream? If yes, take action against that, if not then don’t sweat it. Just know that if you have been obsessing and not trying to control those thoughts, it’s just a matter of time and you will relapse for real…

Hope this helps, and stay strong brother.

I f a lucid dream is a dream over which you have conscious control then of course it’s a relapse! An innocent wet dream is one that simply happens to you.

As Paul said there are different level of control in a lucid dream, I was aware I was dreaming but I couldnt tell who I was, I was not even conscious I was doing nofap.
Addiction hijacked me in a state of low consciousness, when in the second part of the dream I had no control.
It s that kind of dream where you do weird shit and 100% think it’s totally normal and real life

I had a wet dream recently too but it was not of my Choosing. I think I would restart the timer if I were you.

@paul.buys1 - hit the nail on the head!

I haven’t had a wet dream in over 6 months, maybe more.
When I did, I was not serious about saying “NO” to thoughts, and would often have moral fights with myself while looking at porn and edging,
“yes, no, yes, no”
And I’d subsequently have out of control wet dreams.
Many of them fun and I would act as if I wasn’t accountable.

The Church also teaches we are not accountable if we have nocturnal emissions (lol) but I have to disagree, from my own experience.

I’m Catholic btw,
Since then I started taking the ‘Sacrament of reconciliation’ seriously, and never fail to go if I look at porn and/or m&o.

I even confessed having wet dreams, because I know, ultimately it’s my psyche that I’m feeding.

People say we can’t control our thoughts,
I say YES you can! And yes you can discipline them like you would a young pup.

I don’t know if that’s helpful.
But while I wouldn’t necessarily count wet dreams as a I relapse here, I’d seriously look at addressing it because my aim is getting my brain back to normal, and a wet dream should NOT be some off-the-hook reward

Cool. So many lucid dreamers here. The Dreamscapes are ours!

I have those kinds of dreams as well. Ones about fapping that feel so real and others about having sex… I feel you man. It’s frustrating when it feels so real and you don’t know if you really did relapse. Still the question of lucid wet dreams as relapses is up for debate. Just because they aren’t real I would say it’s not a relapse however I feel they are just as powerful if not more than porn because in a sense it’s really happening to you. So I think it can be addicting so, is it a relapse? I don’t know but I mostly agree that they aren’t because dreams are often out of our control. That then leaves the question of lucid dreaming. I don’t know about this either. Anyone willing to share their thoughts?

It is not a relapse because you are not fully conscious. Essentially you are under the influence of a drug, DMT, released from our pineal gland when we sleep or go into a dream-like state. Generally, the dreamer is unacccountable for having a wet dream, because the processes needed to not have one usually involve a lot of research and exploration and discipline into ones sleep hygiene, psyche and diet; all things that are not intrinsic to NoFap. So you shouldn’t have to go through all that to stop wet dreams just so you don’t have to reset your counter.

Unless it is a pervasive issue then relax, it is not a problem. I get wet dreams every few days, roughly 8 or so every month. That is an issue. But if yours aren’t as frequent then they are within a healthy range.

Of course if you want you can reset your counter for a wet dream, it is your counter and your decision totally what rules you set for it. This is just how I see it.

i was have in a month two times wet dream, and after every wet dream i feel a pain in my left testicle.
why?

I am getting daily lucid vivid dream, dream is very vivid that It is having strong impression after i woke up i am feeling it upto 3 4 hours

Its very common if you are in the early stages of nofap. I used to get them a lot. I also used to have a lot of episodes of sleep paralysis (it’s not as heavy as it sounds😅, you can look it up), but yes, these things happen because there are chemical shifts in our brains happening. Relax, it will fade after a while.
