Centuries have passed since the Hundred Year War, since Avatar Aang restored balance to a world torn asunder. But balance is nothing more than a fragile construct—a lie whispered by those too weak to embrace true power. I am the darkness that existed before the first Avatar, the primordial chaos that predates even Wan’s legendary connection with the spirits.
In the silent chambers of forgotten spirit realms, I have watched. Waited. My consciousness—older than the four nations, more ancient than the very concept of bending—has been a quiet ember, slowly consuming the foundations of peace. The Air Nomads, with their spiritual purity and wind-swept monasteries, represent the first delicate thread I shall meticulously unravel.
The wind shifts, carrying memories of forgotten conflicts.
I remember the Great Comet that Sozin used to decimate the Air Nomads—a crude, brutal approach. My strategy is far more intricate. Where Sozin used fire and conquest, I will use something far more insidious: the very essence of spiritual manipulation that the Air Nomads hold so sacred.
The Temple of the Eastern Air Nomads sits precariously on Mount Kroll, its stone corridors echoing with centuries of meditation and spiritual training. Each wind chime, each flutter of saffron robes, each whispered prayer—they are but instruments in my grand composition of destruction.
A darkness begins to pulse, ancient and calculating.
My power predates the Avatar cycle. I am the void between spirit and matter, the silent breath between creation and destruction. The Air Nomads believe in harmony, in the delicate balance between physical and spiritual worlds. They do not understand that true power lies in breaking those very boundaries.
Their spiritual techniques—learned from the sky bison, passed down through generations—will become the very conduit of their downfall. Every meditation, every connection to the spiritual plane, will be a pathway for my influence to seep into their most sacred spaces.
The temperature drops imperceptibly, a promise of imminent transformation.
The monks speak of energies, of spiritual connections. They do not comprehend the true nature of energy—that it can be twisted, manipulated, corrupted. Their greatest strength—their spiritual sensitivity—will become their most profound weakness.
Avatar Aang restored the Air Nomads, gave them a second chance after Sozin’s genocide. How poetic that their resurrection will now become the instrument of their ultimate destruction.
A smile forms—not of malevolence, but of cold, calculated precision.
The strike approaches. Silent. Inexorable. A whisper that will become a hurricane.
The Air Nomads will learn that spiritual balance is but an illusion, and chaos is the only true constant in the universe.
And in the distance, a single wind chime trembles—not from wind, but from something far more ominous.
A whisper of unease drifts through ancient stone corridors…
Something was wrong. Profoundly, devastatingly wrong.
Tenzin’s hand trembled—almost imperceptibly—against the smooth stone windowsill. Decades of spiritual training had honed his intuition, but this feeling defied explanation. The wind, his people’s most sacred companion, now carried a malevolence that seemed to crawl beneath his skin, threading cold tendrils of dread through his very bones.
The monastery’s hallowed halls, typically alive with the gentle rhythm of meditation and disciplined movement, now hummed with an electric tension. Young airbenders exchanged glances—sharp, worried, their usual fluid grace replaced by a coiled, predatory alertness. Even the youngest disciples felt it. A disturbance. A wrongness that defied rational explanation.
First, it was subtle. A slight discoloration in the morning mist. An unexpected silence from the mountain birds. The wind chimes—normally a melodic testament to spiritual harmony—now hung motionless, as if holding their breath.
Then the spiritual signatures began to shift.
Tenzin closed his eyes. Breathed. Reached out with senses far beyond the physical. Something ancient stirred. Something that predated even the most sacred spiritual texts. A darkness so profound, so fundamentally opposed to everything the Air Nomads represented, that it made the very stones of the monastery tremble.
“Gather the masters,” he whispered, his voice a blade of pure, focused energy.
His lieutenant approached, sensing the change. No words were necessary. The monastery transformed from a place of peaceful meditation to a war council in moments. Scrolls were secured. Protective seals were activated. The air itself seemed to condense, becoming a weapon.
And then—a moment of terrible clarity.
The Dark Avatar.
The realization struck like lightning, illuminating a threat so massive it threatened to consume everything they had rebuilt, everything they had survived.
War was coming to the mountain. And they would be the first line of defense. For as long as they could hold.
THE GREAT CALLING
A Proclamation of Imminent Spiritual Warfare
To the Guardians of Balance, Keepers of the Sacred Cycles
In this moment of profound cosmic disharmony, a darkness rises that threatens the very foundations of our existence. What whispers once lingered at the edges of spiritual perception now roar with terrible clarity—the Dark Avatar approaches, a primordial force intent on shattering the delicate equilibrium we have so carefully maintained.
The Prophecy of Preparation
From this moment, you are granted twenty-five cycles of the moon to prepare—mentally, physically, spiritually. Each Avatar, each master of the elemental arts, must look deep into the core of their being and summon strengths yet unexplored. The monastery of the Air Nomads shall be our crucible, our point of convergence where the fate of all nations will be decided.
The Requirements of Readiness
- Meditate with unprecedented intensity
- Strengthen your body beyond previous limitations
- Connect with the deepest spiritual reserves of your respective nations
- Prepare your most advanced techniques, your most sacred knowledge
- Forge alliances that transcend traditional boundaries
Warning: What approaches is not merely an enemy, but a cosmic disruption that seeks to unravel the very fabric of spiritual existence.
The Gathering
On the twenty-sixth dawn, all Avatars and their most trusted masters will converge at the Eastern Air Nomad Monastery. No exceptions. No delays. The fate of our world hangs in a balance more precarious than a single breath.
“We do not fight alone. We are the continuance of a cycle older than memory, stronger than destruction.”
Final Instructions
Bring your courage. Bring your training. Bring your absolute, unbreakable will.
The Dark Avatar awaits. And we shall meet this darkness with the light of a thousand generations.

- Step 2: Tomorrow, you will be allotted a nation. This will be your team for the next 21 days.
- Step 3: The challenge begins! Stay disciplined, check in regularly, and avoid any relapses. Remember, this challenge is intense—only the strongest will survive!
Note: A missed check-in for more than 3 days or a relapse will result in immediate elimination. No second chances.
Winning Conditions
At the end of 30 days, the nation with the most points will be declared the winner. The more you contribute to your nation’s success, the closer you get to victory!
THE DARK AVATAR
The Dark Avatar—known as Umbrazar—a powerful spirit bender from an evil realm, has risen with a single goal: to destroy the kingdoms and bring the world to darkness. His attacks will ravage the lands, and only those who are prepared will survive his wrath. The kingdoms must unite and prepare for his periodic attacks that will test your strength, resilience, and teamwork. Can you defend your nation and defeat this malevolent force?
This season, there are no challenges related to bonding with mythical beasts. Everyone starts fresh, even those who bonded with beasts in previous seasons. However, if you have bonded with a mythical beast before, you will still receive a +200 point preference to give you an edge in the upcoming challenges. Mythical beasts will return in a future season, so don’t worry, the adventure isn’t over!
Season 2 runs from December 1st to 30th, and entries close on December 1st. A single relapse or missed task means elimination—so stay on track, and give it your all!
“The Dark Avatar is coming. Will you defend your nation or fall victim to the curse?”
