Deadpool Forging his Future

Disconnect from words and you are fine.
I mean leave sight of the shore.
Look forward at your goal.
Trust the process
And
Dive into the unknown territory.
Keep Courage.
Thats it.

I’ll do when I think I’ve gained enough courage and then I’ll make the perfect Moment.
Cause losing the sight of the shore has led me to become lost several times.
So now I’ll proceed to my voyage when I’ll be ready.
Cause you know all my values(myboat), self respect, willpower, were broken with my last streak, now I’m building a better boat and will set to sail when it’s ready

29 July Day 8
Today was awesome, i was able to keep up with all my routine and i was a beast today too. I’ll never stop and keep on grinding till i reach my goal, honestly i was a little too carried away by my work that i forgot to focus on some little things which are very important, this little mistake can be a big blunder for me. I have to improve it no matter what. I can’t afford silly mistakes now. I’ll just be sure to improve tomorrow and come back harder. My productivity was good but i was wasting a lot of time not focusing on task at hand. I need to improve that. As for urges, they come for me every night and i fight them daily and i will continue to do so.

Yeah brother this has become a part of my life now, I have done a lot of thinking in the past few days, about the perspective and approach to nofap and better life and got some nice conclusions I’ll reveal it tomorrow

Ok so here I am with my experience which may help you improve.

Disclaimer:

  • These are all just my opinion and my own realizations, if you have a different opinion then please share it down below so that the people reading this can also get different perspectives and choose the best course of action
*if you have a problem then just please dm me before flagging this post.

Some things to relate:

  • Case 1(Alex)- As you know many people relapse from high streaks and the reason in most of the cases is that they were overconfident and being on high streak made them egoistic, they were seeing this as a great achievement and thought they were better than the rest.
  • Case2(Tom)- People on low streaks or who’ve relapse from a high streak often find themselves exhausted from trying again and again, they experience declining willpower and less resistance power.
  • Case3(John)- Newbies often think of urges as mighty enemies and they think they can’t achieve high streaks early, it can only be done in multiple tries.

So as you can relate to these cases, now if we can look at the tools we use in our system to reboot:

  • Motivation- Well this is an overrated thing in my opinion, the effect lasts for short period of time, doesn’t actually gives you power but just makes you feel charged. Well this doesn’t seem as a great option to rely on.
  • Discipline- A lot of emphasize is given on discipline here in this forum, well the reason is it works very well. I agree that discipline is a very important factor to reboot. But we all know that this requires a lot of self control. There are days when we end up fucking up our discipline, be it family problems, health problems or maybe you’re having a burnout. When it happens you’re wide open to urges, I personally relapsed many times like this.
  • Environment- Well this is the most powerfull weapon to use. It’s the thing that stimulates us to do the things in the first place. By carefully engineering our environment we can reach great deal of success with least effort. Example- you’ll not think of watching ■■■■ when you’re in a temple or with your family, you’ll be able to easily resist sugar if you don’t have any at your place. But this has a problem, there is always uncertainty in life, there can be odds, you can get stuck in a situation, which can activates the strong neural pathways in your brain and make you relapse.
  • Willpower- Well this is our SOS weapon or you can say our last chance. Mostly used when urges hit. But the problem is that the willpower is like a muscle, it does weaken and require replenishment. I’ll post more about it later.
  • Habits- Using willpower for all activities is quite a drag so we tend to make them a habit so that executing these activities becomes easy while facing least resistance. But again it takes time to build and is emotionally influenced. Like if you’re depressed or anxious you’ll not be able to meditate even if you tried, cause your mind is unstable.

So what would be the best thing that covers all the limitations of these tools?

The answer is belief.

Well if you search through history you’ll find that the strongest weapon we have is belief. It’s the belief that unites us or divides us. Belief led to wars and peace. The point is, what youre believing, what you’re putting your faith in. Belief combined with faith and driven towards hope can do miracles. Feel free to read more about it on the internet.

So where to put our belief in?

We should put our belief in god. You’ll ask why, let’s find out.

  • For Case1- Alex achieved a very high streak. Now instead of being overconfident and take the credit for it and feed his ego. He can believe that god helped him in achieving this and god also deserves the credit here. This will give him a sense of gratefullnes towards god which is a good thing instead of feeding his ego. He will become confident that god helps him in need, which inturn will strengthen his belief in god.
  • For Case2- Tom follows all the routine, discipline, habits etc. But still he relapses. Now he’s getting hopeless, he experiences a decrease in willpower and resistance and increased self doubt and feeling of giving up. He calls himself a loser cause he fails everytime. Then his relapse frequency increases which further pushes him in pit.
  • For Case3- John can have faith in god and believes that god will guide him through his path.
  • For Willpower and Motivation- Well there is a bigger power called god power, believe that god is the almighty he is the strongest he will help you overcome this urge. His infinite energy is given upon you to fight and be on the right path. This will give you a sense of infinite energy and motivation which will not deplete.
  • For discipline, habits, etc.- All these have one limitation Uncertainty or Hostile situations, to overcome these only chanting the name of god or mantras are enough, it has power beyond our understanding.
  • If you failed you can believe in god to recover and have a hope to grab

Well keep following your usual system, and combine it with god system to maximize your potential.

Remember God works from within you, so you must take action in order for god to help you. God helps those who helps themselves.

Don’t lose faith if you fail, there will be failures but a true devotee takes failures as punishment or lesson from the master and keep on improving. He believes that master has choosen the best path for him and he just needs to find it. In order to find it he needs to be vigilant all time to grab oppurtunities and do karma. You need to have a positive approach towards god, positivity is necessary thats why our brother sahas stresses the need to be positive

Do karma without worrying about results. Love the process not the result.

I personally experienced case 1 and2, it was god who helped me.
Well these things are purely based on my opinion.

Thats really a good habit brother… according to ayurvedha… it is 32 times… so you can make it your long term target… but first it is important to maintain consistency.

All the best bro.

Yeah Im aiming for that

Brother @Deadpoolgupta I totally agree with what you said about belief in God. In my case I was not seeking the help of God. I reached 100 days and thought yes I did it. Iam the best. I did it only through my hardwork, struggle and will power. I never used to pray. When everyone in my house are praying in the evening I’ll walk by saying atleast subconsciously to myself, there is no use in doing this. It is what we do that matters. Now, when that strong urge came I decided to forget everything. All my promises, my goals, companions everything. I thought, now the urge is at its peak, there is nothing I can do now. This pain would be unbearable so I’ll give up. I can make up some excuses to tell everyone.
BUT if I believed in God and prayed and thought that he would give me the power to go through this struggle I would have come up. I believe FAITH IN GOD OR FAITH IN A SUPREME POWER ABOVE ALL OF US is very important in nofap Journey. Because this is not an easy path. THIS IS HARD. REAL HARD. We have to be humble, honest and hardworking throughout this Journey.
When I looked up all the posts by @kostantinosNF I saw him thanking God many times. That really helped him in this journey, I believe.
So Iam going to make praying a regular habit from now on. Everyday when my mother prays I’ll sit with her and pray. Thanks for reminding brother @Deadpoolgupta
This time Iam sure we’ll all be achieving exceptional success in life along with nofap.
