DAY 20
Today I wanted to share a cricket story of Sachin Tendulkar. No doubt, he was the greatest cricket player of that generation. He has a record of 100 international centuries , First ODI double hundred , 241* without a cover drive in Sydney test & many more.
In 1998 , Tendulkar went down to play coca-cola champions trophy in Sharjah. Henry olonga was first black cricketer from Zimbabwe. he was called as the prince of his country. Henry Olonga was playing against tendulkar.
On their first match , Olonga caught sachin on his short ball. Sachin got out scoring 11 out of 12 balls. Olonga sledged sachin calling him he can’t play short balls.
After getting out he went to the ground directly and practiced short balls for more than 1 or 2 hours. He didn’t slept well properly that night all he wanted is revenge.
The revivals played once again each other at the final. Sachin scored a perfect 124 runs out of 92 balls. Henry never sledged again sachin after that match. India won that match by 10 wickets with leading run scorer Sachin’s 124(92) & Ganguly’s 63(90). The boy learned the lesson very well never ever sledge the god.
We all are in this journey together. and we relapse some day but we have to get up stronger every time we fall . We have to take learning from the master blaster that no matter what happened today i will be stronger when i comeback. i will do possible things to make a comeback.
Finally, Brother, what a perfect time to finally redeem yourself, waiting for your next longest streak . God bless her brother and keep the patience man.
