A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
From: Proverbs 28:20 (KJV)

It’s exciting to start a new career, and we often daydream about our future milestones and monetary success. We enjoy making plans and look forward to financial peace as we humbly bow our heads to thank God for His blessing. We are faithful as we live our lives according to His plan, and we trust His timing. We are in no rush for the next big raise, and there is no sense of urgency because we are satisfied with the peace of mind God has bestowed upon us at this moment.

Verse of the Day

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
From: 1 Corinthians 15:44 (KJV)

Inspiration

We have a natural and spiritual body; sewn together by our Creator. We protect our entire body as a temple by renewing our physical and mental health. We rest when tired, eat appropriately, and maintain our diets for physical strength. We must pray, study Scripture and open our hearts to the Holy Spirit for mental growth and spiritual renewal. We cherish the human form God has created and will continue to maintain our health, so we continue to complete good works in His name.

Prayer

Dear God, We are thankful for the beautiful human form You created for us. Teach us how to maintain our physical and spiritual strength so we may continue to live according to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Verse of the Day

Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
From: Ephesians 5:17

Inspiration

God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours; we will never understand His intentions or ability to love beyond boundaries. We seek to live according to His will, and we achieve this by calling to the Holy Spirit. We must carefully listen as we ask for direction and understanding. Sometimes we do not like the Holy Spirit’s answer and try to argue or add our own opinion. The Holy Spirit does not lead us astray as we listen with eager ears and open hearts.

Prayer

Dear God, We will never understand Your mind; we only understand Your love. Your plan for us is always good, and we will listen as You instruct our steps, and we will continue to live according to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Verse of the Day

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
From: Colossians 4:5 (KJV)

Inspiration

We have found peace and understanding by accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior and are eager to share the Gospel with everyone! We connect with non-believers through actions and words by maintaining consistency and knowledge. We must meet people where they are and explain Scripture clearly; so everyone has an opportunity to understand. Our witness is our priority as we interact with people daily, and we will rely on the Holy Spirit to direct us to those who do not know Him.

Prayer

Dear Lord, We are thankful for our relationship with You and are eager to share the Gospel! We will continue our studies and rely on Your Spirit for knowledge as we speak to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Verse of the Day

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
From: James 4:14 (KJV)

Inspiration

We face the issue of time management each day. We manage our work schedule, daily routine, and a monthly list of events. What do we consider priorities; work, family, entertainment, or education? We often place worldly business over worship, prayer, and Bible Study. As we think about tomorrow, next week, or the month ahead, we must remember that we have devoted our lives to the Lord, and He always comes first. We will include Him in our planning for His blessing and direction.

Prayer

Dear Lord, We want You involved in every moment. As we make plans for days ahead, You come first! Please teach us to manage our time accordingly. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Verse of the Day

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
From: 1 John 3:4 (KJV)

Inspiration

We run from sin because we want nothing to do with it. We strive to grow closer to God, and sin separates us from Him. We wake up each day and decide to change our sinful lifestyle by making no exceptions and doing everything possible to avoid temptations. We live in Christ, not sin, and we will not intentionally sin, thinking we can ask for forgiveness later. Sin is a heavy burden that we take seriously, and we will do everything possible to abolish it.

Prayer

Dear God, Please steady our feet so we may run far away from sin! We want to be closer to You and abolish our sinful nature. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
From: James 2:10 (KJV)

His love inspires us to strengthen our faith and avoid sin because we yearn to be closer to Him.
