An Everlasting No to PMO

It’s time I increase my accountability as much as possible. I’m a very closed off person (especially in terms of this problem), so I think it will help if I put my streak up for all to see.

Starting at day 0 - no PMO

(I’m still 13 days no P)

I would recommend not using P but still MO. Than you can try to MO less times per day untill you can stop.

I’ve tried that strategy before and I eventually just MO more often and go back to P. It can definitely work for some people but it didn’t for me. Is that your current strategy?

Haven’t tried it yet, main goal is to quit P than MO will naturally fade away

5 days no PMO. Strange thing I noticed: I’ve started dreaming a little more, or at least remember my dreams better.

Keep going, brother! You can experiment as many as you can. Try different strategy until you find the right one :+1: Good luck!

6 days no PMO. I feel like this is easy, but I will stay cautious.

Thank you! I really appreciate that. I’ve been experimenting for 4 years, but only now have I realized accountability is very powerful.

That’s great to hear that you’re feeling good after 6 days! Staying cautious and mindful is a smart approach. Sometimes, the early stages can feel easier, but it’s important to keep a steady mindset as you continue. Just take it day by day, and don’t be too hard on yourself if challenges arise. Keep it up!

I think you’ll need a solid strategy for this problem as we all do to be honest.

1 week no PMO complete. I’ve got some urges but I always remember there are people that see this post, and I don’t want to have to confess being a failure for all to see. That’s not gonna happen.

Day 8 no PMO - I will keep going and never look back.

Day 9 no PMO. Haven’t really had urges in the past couple days so I’m staying vigilant for when they come.

That’s awesome, congrats on day 9! It’s great that you’ve been able to stay strong and not experience strong urges. Staying vigilant, like you’re doing, is key because those urges can pop up unexpectedly. Keep focusing on your progress and staying aware of any potential triggers.
