I decided to start a challenge with myself. 40 days, locked in. I do not have a religion, despite the inspiration of this challenge being Jesus, on this 40 day long trial on the desert. I take Jesus as an enlightned one, the apex of human potential, I will have his image with me throughout the challenge.

U should decide some tasks to do daily so that they keep reminding u of this challenge. Also u will get real happiness at the end of the day because of being productive.

I’ve made through the first day! I spent all day outside home so it was really easy.
Today I noticed that I am more connected to my life purpose. When I am authentic to myself, great things begin to happen. Thank you for your messages guys!

I relapsed spending much time in bathroom. It is crazy that my brain tend to binge. So when I start one, it is easier to continue.
I will add a to-do task! This will help myself because I will remember to not do the things that make me relapse. Adding new features everyday! I know that if I continue to innovate the journal/challenge, i will make it happen!

Yesterday I have slipped up 2 times
Day 1 (today):
I slipped up 11 times
Today felt like a hurricane, yesterday night I was confronted to my biggest trauma, and today I was paralyzed, there was so much pain that i needed something internal to pick myself up. So I did it. 11 times. I decided to take this day off. I was caught by surprise and my PTSD awakened. Going to get back on the routine tomorrow.

@CarryOn I learned this from @Rebooter_pt and he makes a good point on the percentage.
This is one of his tips that has helped me.
Tip: to do the math just do this: days of the month - number of relapses during that month Ă· days of the month Ă— 100 = clean percentage.

I noticed that every day I took cellphone to the bathroom I failed. I will try a new method that i created, that is to go to the bathroom with lights off. Thats incredible because your brain do not recognize the place, so it does not triggers any desire to fap. And it is great for creativity too!

I noticed that the trigger is not even the social media guys. The trigger is actually the NEED to remain entertained. Social media is just a solution to this trigger, which is another trigger to fap.
To solve this trigger, we need to develop a way to watch social media in specific times. 2 and 6 PM for example. This way we know that we will be entertained, but not crave for it all the times.
