Its been long time since I’ve been missing from here, well I was in the hospital due to covid for the past 2 months but now i’ve recovered. But 2 months of laziness has led me to go on that lazy track again (still no relapse or peeking, i’m going strong) However I need to get my life back on track. Those daily routines is something i’m really really missing and I’m finding it hard to comeback. Sitting ideally but thankfully no bad thoughts. Well after trying for 2-3 years this is 1st time i’ve gone past 150 days and still going on. I dont know the count of days as i’ve uninstalled and the app and also not tracking the days now. But here were some changes that I experienced over those until I had fever.

  1. Early wakeup (5am-6am) : Feels fresh and have good mood most of the days
  2. Reading (min 30mins) I had finished abt 5-7 books in 3months
  3. Exercise (min 1hr) I was feeling really strong and was having good mood
  4. Productivity (doing things I consider productive for 5-10hrs a day)

Whats the result?
For the first time in these 4 years in college I got a cgpa of 9.23 whereas during those day I had cgpa less than 8.
So yes everything impacted my life not just in a small way but in a really really big manner. But now i have to start again as i have lost the rhythm but I don’t hesitate as I haven’t lost anything.

Everything comes in your life for a reason
I had the fear of swallowing tablets/capules till the previous month, but having covid finally led me to learn to swallow :joy: might seem silly to you but its a big achievement for me. It was one of my biggest fear for more than 10 years :laughing:

Relapsed!!..

Well this was coming, because boredom was setting and mind was wandering and just by seeing some triggered content…It ended up!!..My best streak so far, but not counting on days, I am not too much sad but still I got to know that chaser effect and all that is still there even after 150+ days… I have to start again… New beginning, trying not to fail this time

I was surprised how easily everything changed after a relapse, this addiction spread like fire…But still the earlier I stop, the better. I started reading again after a long time, and started watching usefull videos. Its really easy to fallback…

I stopped counting the days…and its better…
I use mobile only for whatsapp rest is blocked…

Even after locking everything my brain finds a way through… :sweat_smile: I have tried a lot of ways…But everything has a loophole that you need to control…
I deleted the youtube app…Downloaded applock and locked all apps…with a random password that I dont know at all…Also i’ve the “Appblock” app that can be used to block all apps like playstore,chrome,settings and all…It works well…
I’m also trying to engage in different passions and hobbies and I barely need phone now. Phone is for calling and whatsapp only. For me this has worked the best…It depends on person…You can try this…Hope it works :slightly_smiling_face:

I am currently reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. It clearly explains several things that we otherwise wouldn’t have thought about.
2 key things that I learned from this book (upto which I’ve read):
