DAY 100
Its been a long time since I was trying to stop. Haven’t gone past 43 days for the past 1.5 years. I am feeling that I am at the top of my life now. I really can’t express how happy I am.
To start with its not that easy to escape this addiction, it really is serious. For the first 2 months I locked my phone with a password randomly generated so that I won’t remember it and I put my brother’s fingerprint if I needed to unlock my phone. Its because my brain always finds a way out So I had to find some way inorder to prevent it. So I locked up everything including settings, chrome, youtube, rewire app, playstore, no social media. In short using mobile for calling and whatsapp only. But I did accidentaly see some vulgar scenes while I was watching movies., but it wasn’t that triggering because I was expecting urges and I knew it would come anyway.
During the time I was addicted I would always think how good my life will be when I can finally stop it for good. I thought about exercising daily, meditating daily,being full of energy etc. and guess what eveything has become a reality now. I am so greatfull to myself for not giving up.I have been exercising regularly with 1/2 day breaks in btw due to valid reasons. I have been meditating as well. I have been really productive also, its like I was living the best 3 months of my life. I’ve never been more happier. After getting into college, I had many breakdowns, awkward social situations, my grades was continuously decreasing, I was sad, depressed, It couldn’t be more worse. Missed a whole lot of awesome moments of my life. Regrets!! Time is everything, use it wisely, minimize regrets of life, regret is worst pain that one will experience in life. Its not impossible. If I can stop anyone can.
All my past failures were really helpfull because I know what I had to do inorder to escape this addiction. Start engaging in good habits and keep pushing even if your mind says no I can’t. Thats the best way. I did not stop exercising, meditating during these days and also was studying and doing things that I find productive and thats what helped me a lot. Keep yourself busy. I got bad thoughts during the days when I was resting unwantedly. So don’t listen to your mind. Keep pushing.
I am not a social person(but want to get social), but the difference I noticed is that I dont care about what people think of me now, I just don’t care. Earlier while i was addicted I was thinking a lot about how others think I was which was not at all necessary. Its a great feeling.
I am really thankful to everyone here, all those awesome journals really helped me a lot, all the good people out there on youtube, reddit nofap,semen retention groups are also really wonderfull(there are a lot of good posts).

Yes time and good health is everything , great things will never ends if you insist to keep it and your diary talk about a fabulous hard work on yourself .

I wasn’t updating for the past 2 weeks because I was suffering from high fever…Anyway I am ok now and one thing that I noticed for the past few days was that I was struggling to be productive. I was just sitting without doing anything and I was really really bored and I did have some unwanted thoughts and yes An Idle man’s mind is a devil’s workshop. But since I have abstained for past 3 months I was able to keep my mind away from all that. And I started recognizing how important it is to stay focussed on doing something that you find passionate about. And I am slowly going back to the kind of routines I had earlier and that itself is making me happier.
