Hello everyone, I just wanted to confess here that I am in 10th standard ( Age :16 ) and my Board Exams are currently going on . I was on a good streak of about 20+ days but I relapsed just 2 days before my first board exam .
Since then I have:
Masturbated two times before my first exam and yesterday I was studying all day for my today’s (2nd) exam but started watching p*rn and masturbated around 12AM in the morning .
I have been using this app for around 6+ months now but I am still struggling a lot with my addiction .
I am actually good and sincere in my studies and always have been among the toppers of my class and I do want to keep that position intact even now .I have completed my revision and I don’t want to lose my momentum now
Could anyone please advice or help me to get our of this?
PS : I have already read Hundreds of articles , watched thousands of videos regarding this topic
hey there if you have read man articles and doen the research you know all the facts so hence only my personal advise:
take a study break day or at least a few hours do sth fun in roder to get some stimulus to you siystem (an alteranative might be one day of dopamine detox) after that or during that grab a friend (preferably irl) talk about PMO and how you might want to quit and how you can prevent PMO during exam periods. you propably now quite enough ideas and techniques so you will figure it out
after having that talk implement the measures.
quitting PMO in exam period will most likeyl benefit you since after P, M or O your body gets tired your focus gets reduced etc etc etc that is why i would advice against keeping PMO up during exams… studying will be a lot harder when you are tired and you will be constantly demotivated due to the dopamine depravation.
