for the past two days I decided to try handstands. Today I was able to keep one for 3-5 seconds. But after a few more tries, I had a bad fall. So in pain lol.

Hopefully my legs will be okay tomorrow. Because besides the fall I also had leg day today morning at the gym xD more and more trauma. But it’s all good, gotta work harder.

My goal is to be able to do 5 handstand pushups. I feel like once I get the balance down, the push ups part should be achievable.

Wasted a little too much time today, will work on redeeming the time I have left.

My goals are to complete making flashcards for ENT, Forensic Medicine as well as Community Medicine (if possible) by the end of today.

Quite a few urges, managing to fight them with God’s help.

Next week I’ll have exams, gotta study hard.

A commendable display of determination and resilience, even in the face of pain and setbacks. To master the art of handstands and endure leg day trauma in a single swoop shows a spirit not easily broken. :crossed_swords:

Channel your cursed energy sir, focus your cursed techniques, and let nothing stand in your way. Flashcards, exams, and the mastery of your studies shall fall before your relentless pursuit.

Please continue to fight with the same tenacity respected sir @debellator, and know that even the most formidable curses in your competition will bow to your unwavering willpower. Wishing your efforts to be as unyielding as my Malevolent Shrine.

The pain that you are experiencing now :skull:
But it’s going to be worth it when you see the results.

I had to do that training during basketball tournaments :skull: most tiring thing in the world. If you do that for a week (I had to do it for two weeks) automatically your weight will go down without even doing anything. I lost quite a bit of weight (even though I’m not that heavy to start with) in that two weeks. Too tiring, won’t bring doing that unless I have to again :joy:

facing multiple urges everyday, but leaning on God’s help to beat them all.
Half way through exam week, going good by His grace.

Still working on handstand. I have the strength, but the balance requires some time to develop. Yesterday I was able to hold a handstand again for a few seconds. Still quite some way from being able to do handstand pushups, but progress is progress.

I must stay focused, I cannot be distracted.

1 John 2:15-17
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the worldβ€”the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of lifeβ€”comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

comparison is the thief of joy

I’m too busy watering my own grass to notice if yours is greener :four_leaf_clover:

getting back to the grind. yesterday was a good day, gym+college+went to the library in the evening. today I didn’t go to the library in the evening. facing some mild withdrawal symptoms as I always do when I’m in this phase of leaving my old life behind.

a positive effect (well it may be positive depends on how it’s used) I’ve noticed is that I’ve gotten more attracted to women around me now. as in, I realize that real women around me are seeming more attractive towards me. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s an effect of the higher testosterone. It’s not like I didn’t find women around me attractive before, it’s just…different. hard to explain. part of the rewiring process, I’m sure, which is what makes me happy.

sometimes I feel sad about how it seems I’ve made so little progress. then God reminds me about how I was 2 years ago. everyone who is on this app, even though they may relapse from time to time, I am pretty sure they are all a better person than they were last year and the year before that. which is why we must keep pushing.

the struggle is long but the victory is sure

handstands are a great exercise. it’s addicting. although I can’t hold one for more than 3-5 seconds, whenever I get the opportunity to, I find myself simply launching into one whenever I can. in private obviously, not in public spaces. I’m comfortable in the position now, no more reddening of eyes much anymore (previously my eyes used to get very red when I did pike pushups or handstands). the body has adapted well.

I am also glad to see my country is slowly healing  :india:

today was push day (not one of my favorites) and tomorrow is pull day (lol looking forward to it even now). it’s true that the moment you finish your workout the next thing you look forward to is the next workout

I thank God for all the blessings He has given me.
also I thank Him for the recent rains which have cooled down the weather.

must stay strong with His help. urges keep facing me but with the strength of Christ I will overcome.

thanks for stopping by and encouraging me on my journey

Day 1/90

My momentum is in the right direction, but I’ve slipped.
Will work on getting back on track with God’s help.

I know 90 days seems an arduous goal for me but by being disciplined with His grace anything is possible.

90 days is ideal for D2 receptor rewiring in the brain, which is why I’ve chosen it.
