For me I let it all out here because it gives me a sense of relief when I do that.
I dont do that irl and other media. I always keep problems in my head and let it all out here. I also am not afraid of being judged here . If anyone think my character is too bad , I’ll start a new account and hence a new life just like a restart button in a game.

don’t confuse journaling/venting here with chatting with others. This forum is an excellent place to journal/vent given the relative degree of anonymity. Far better to tell it here than to keep it contained- will bring more mental peace. I used to openly share my thoughts here few years ago. Now I’ve developed more private resources to do the same.
I was referring to talking to others and one’s interactions with them.

Thats good. For me , I earlier do that as self message on WhatsApp but it lacks accountability.
I also tried with Meta AI , But ai has some limitations. It cannot give you good accountability like a human does.
Here when I screw up , there are people to advice and guide me. I need such kind of people like that.

AI aren’t that bad too they only speak facts I know they cannot understand us but it’s a good thing that atleast they answer us everytime we call them!

The things I say online are not much different than the things I say to someone’s face.
There might be a little difference, but I’m mostly blunt in both the domains.

…perhaps you don’t understand what I mean. Do you want me to come explain what I meant? I’m not meaning it in an offensive way. The way you replied either means you did it for the heck of it or you actually didn’t understand.

I didn’t. It is exhausting. When I go into a situation I always plan out on how to react. Maybe unlike other people for whom it is natural, for me it’s insanely difficult to choose between a behavioral pattern. Eg. during funerals I’m thinking if I’m to cry or not. Whether to do it in front of everyone or not.
I don’t know.
So I stitched up one persona for myself (which is me) and I try to be that guy everywhere. Mostly quiet and reserved. But when speaking I’ll be blunt and honest.
Unless there’s a situation like where my life is threatened, I wouldn’t really change it. Because unlike other people, it doesn’t come to me naturally. I have to give it a thought.
