Can i ask u guys one thing that i read in quora and another apps that one who did UG in iit… He will probably get around crores but i dont know how much that is true. Do all the students get the same net pay. As iam speaking abt net pay (with deductions and all) . Do u ever heard that in reality from the ex-iitians

IIT Bombay’s average stood around 25 lakhs, while few got more than 1 cr and the least was 6-10 lakh. But in the longer run, IIT’s offer a good ROI, it will take you only some years to go from 25 to 70 lakhs, if you change job periodically.

Not everyone is getting 1cr packages…one has to maintain a really good CGPA, only the top branches get these packages

Average is actually a bad parameter to see any observation.
It disregards the bottom and the top.
Similar to what we see in average national income of india.

I know some, they earn 5,00,000+ monthly but they are really good at their work. Usually these guys get outsourced to other countries where they are more in need. For example, HongKong. Is PlanRed planning to join IIT?
