The Porn Pandemic

Click, type, click…
Fewer than 5 seconds: That’s how long it takes to be watching your favorite pornstar doing anything you want online. Teen, lesbian, anal, amateur, gang-bang, double penetration – You name it, it’s yours in fewer than 5 seconds.
Just decades ago, men could go their entire lives with only seeing a handful of naked women. In the 1950s, if a man saw a woman wearing a skirt above the knees with bare ankles or shoulders visible, this was considered erotic. That’s unbelievably tame compared to what we can find online today or see just walking down a strip mall, with half-naked women in the windows of retail stores. Today, most adult men have seen hundreds if not thousands of naked women doing just about everything online.
Today the average age at which a boy views porn is 11 years old. By 15, he’s seen women do things he never thought possible. By 18, he has his own collection of favorite porn stars and spends 30 minutes per day watching porn.
Never before has there been so much free access to any type of sexual fantasy you could – and could not – imagine.
We are the first generation in all of human history to grow up with unlimited and free, convenient access to high definition porn via mobile smartphone or tablet.
The research isn’t even out yet on the long-term effects of porn on adolescents into adulthood for men. You are basically an experiment and no one cares how this will affect your life. How does this affect a man’s relationships? His family?
His social life? And views of women? How about in the workplace?
Virtually everywhere you go in the world you have porn with you. It’s like having a drug dealer in your pocket. But instead, this drug is sexual fantasy and that fantasy is getting out of control.
That’s why today we are experiencing: “The Porn Pandemic.”

There’s also other name to what we’re experiencing nowadays, it is the “Hypersexual Society” and I totally agree. Never before in all mankind’s history sexuality has been so implicated in our culture. Virtually everything we see or listen to is sexual related, that’s devouring peoples lives, it’s totally deplorable if you ask me.

Superb post bro. I hope you won’t mind if I tell you that I copy pasted it in my notes on a language exchange website (I have given due credit to you in the title).
I feel that not only the easy availability of porn is dangerous but also the portrayal of sexuality in the smallest of things has made it worse. I will not even talk about television, news or radios. You’ll go to a shopping site to buy anything, and there pics of hot women in just lingeries is all over. You’ll go to buy books, and there on the top, erotic novels with raunchy cover are occupying major chunk. You’ll try to read newspaper, and there you’ll be tortured with advertisements containing hot women in skimpy clothes or sometimes even no clothes . Then you’ll go to the roads, and there, women are walking around in shorts, wearing so much makeup like never before in the history. Even if you’ll go to a mall or just a park to relax, you’re triggerred by couples sitting there, doing all kind of talks and activities.
There are triggers in school, colleges, work places and everywhere. There’s literally nowhere for you to escape unless you don’t close yourself in a room away from every essential item. Which in itself guarabtees t hat its not much possible.
P.S. In the 50’s, men used to do P,M,O using adult magazines and novels. Playboy was already available by that time. From 60’s , pornography became really common and there were adult theatres which would screen such kind of movies. What I want to say here is that, yes, our situation is the worst, but it wasn’t much better in later half of 20th century either. Before that, people were too busy killing each other.

This is because of a simple principle humans follow. I love reminding myself of this whenever I’m tempted to be unproduuctive.

If you can do something that gives you dopamine quickly, and get away with it, don’t fool yourself. You’re not going to stop doing it.

Prevention is better than cure,
