šŸ“– The House of Wisdom

Wow, you misunderstood my intent completely and have ignored most of what I wrote when I told you about why I asked the question but it’s obvious you can’t be convinced. If my question about if you used chatgpt to write what you wrote hurt you, I apologize for that, but I don’t have time to waste arguing meaninglessly.

Evidences matter…
Precision matters…
Without them…
Bold questions become questionable instead…

Yes, agreed.
I believe the posts speak for themselves. Nothing more needs to be said.

Daymn bro, you took things to whole another level , I read the entire conversation, I don’t think Debellator was trying to hurt you in any way, he is a nice and disciplined chap and so are you.

And regarding use of chatGPT I don’t think there’s any way to distinguish original text with one created from GPT especially when it has been created smartly and being someone who’s good in english it does hurt me as well when someone tries to deem my words as GPT’s but as I said there’s actually no way to prove your originality in text, you just have to accept that AI is there to steal the light, no matter what you think or do that’s the truth.

I also need to point out that self improvement is not about only one sphere of life (like you said you are applying it only for personal productivity) its about overall development. Social interations are an extremely important part of life which can and will directly impact your personal life including personal productivity.

I would like to suggest:

  1. Morning miracle by Hal Elrod
  2. Deep work by Cal Newport
  3. The daily stoic by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman

@Binocular

I have not read many self improvement books, I read these three during my peak self improvement days and I am really thankful for some of the principles that I took from these books and am still applying in my life, will try to find time separately to write a post about summing few of them up when I can.

I respect you big brother and I sincerely appreciate your perspective…

Even so…
I believe that if a person is truthful down to the very core about his ideas and words…
He must defend his integrity with both passion and logic…
Passion means…
Promising that he didn’t take AI help… neither for ideas nor words and asking the questioner to point out the idea or the word or the phrases he borrowed…
And logic means…
Asking the questioner himself to bring evidences and precision on the table…

When we do that bold claims collapse under their own weight…

Still taking others’ snide remarks on something as sacred as originality silently… sacrificing integrity for the sake of keeping friendships intact… is honorable and I’ll see if I can train myself like that…

Even so… self respect is something always worth taking a stand for…

As far as self development is considered… I respect that take of yours too…
But I also believe different warriors can have different philosophies and roads…
When a person tries to master everything… he can become a jack of all trades…
But he remains a master of none…
In a world that requires man to work like a war machine…
Personal productivity must be prioritized…
Required social growth can come by itself while handling real life interactions…
No better way to hone the skill than training under live fire…
But mastery in social interactions through books like art of war can be focused later…
Just my take…
Different chessboards… Different strategies… :slightly_smiling_face:
