Donā€™t forget to watch PMO motivational video from youTube every morning. When ever you get time read the contents of our group and read about the benefits of PMO. Day 9

  • Affirmation - I am a hardworking guy, I believe you can beat talent with hardwork.
  • One thing I am thankful in life - my failures. My failures have always thought me how to face problems.
  • Urges defeated - there were around 3-5 urges today defeated. Practice done.
  • Report of the day - today was a beautiful day, I am beginning to feel the joy again. I can feel the wind gently touching my cheeks.

@Forerunner your videos always gives me hope. Your words inspire me to take this journey and share it with others as well. I will try to talk with my friends about it and help them get out of this addiction as well.

I had planned the same thing as explained by @Forerunner I was able to relate to every point. Actually last 3 days were so so though for me I controlled myself for two days but lost on the third day that is today.
I also failed to stick to the strategy which ultimately resulted in my failure. People fail after a month or 36 days as you said but I was not even able to overcome 9th day. I was just about to break my highest streak but I fall into the loop again. But I do not want to get disconnected from you people. I will start again, itā€™s shameful that i failed in spite of all those promises. It is difficult to continuing this, but I want to see myself on 90 days streak, I will get a strategy and Yes you said very correctly that WILL POWER DONā€™T LAST LONGER . I will stick to the strategy, i will post daily and start a Diary.
@Forerunner If thereā€™s any suggestion??? How should I start all over again.
I hope this is the last time I use this sentence.

@raj10 Donā€™t think going on to 30 th day or 1000 day. Think of what triggers you in the first place, how you can remove those triggers , urges comes to everyone , you have to be ready for it , if you let your guard down you know what it feels like.

If I were you , I will start of by doing something uncomfortable, like if I donā€™t want to wake up , I will wake. If I donā€™t want to go outside , I will go out side. Things like this will surprise your brain and your brain will start adapting those new habits faster.

:speaking_head: Suggestion for others to refrain from PMO:
We should make our mind like we should be ready to do anything to come out of PMO. Even today i saw beautiful girls when i was going outside but i didnā€™t let my mind to go further after seeing them and i controlled myself from the lustful thoughts entering into me. You should be very very cautious with your thoughtsā€¦ There it startsā€¦ Always cut the very first activity/ thoughts that triggers lust in youā€¦ Be aware and be cautious

But these targets gives me motivation, I know where I have to be! If I do not think of any number I will not be able to visualize. My triggers are 1) Staying alone in a room, there are few friends in my hostel but we all stay alone in each room. 2) Afternoon 3) Laptop, but I can not leave that because I need to give online tests on it. I will work on these triggers this time I will find some solutions to this.
And yes I will work on surprising my brain but I did not understood when and for how long should I Keep giving surprises to my brain? Is this a kind of punishment for relapsing?
@tuku Thanks for your suggestion buddy, I appreciate that. I really need your support guys.

Friends, i am on day 40ā€¦ But i havenā€™t got any urges in these 40 daysā€¦ First time in lifeā€¦ What could be the reason ??.. I am aware of the lustful thoughts and avoid seeing girls, pics etc, chanting mantras all the time whenever my mind is freeā€¦ Is that the reason or Flat-line something like that??.. the main thing is I am alone staying in a room with Laptop, internetā€¦

Is there any connection between NoFap and what this guy has shared? Please give your thoughts friendsā€¦

I couldā€™t believe all the points since i feel its overly exaggeratedā€¦ I just honestly told whatever i felt in my mindā€¦ Because i am not in a position to judge anyone. Friends, Please share your views on his experiences?

It takes 2 weeks to recover from a relapse so you can try this method for 14 days. Think of it like an exercise to make your mind stronger.

Hey @Wyatt In my 46 days streak I experienced a flatline from around day 30-40 . Flatline depends on the level of your addiction. This flatline is a sign of change and improving.

And regarding on all the point that guy made in his post , I have personally experienced them ,not all of them because I relapsed pretty soon. Not only this guy , anyone in nofap experiences it , the point is, it varies when and how they will experience those benefits from person to person.

Day 29
ā€œIn the end we only regret the chances we didnā€™t takeā€
Been very busy these last 2 days always in the study room, or at work, or at the gym, or engaging in long conversations. I am becoming very productive always doing something. I havenā€™t even had time to have any urges. I am much more present and not thinking about the past or futre anywhere near as much as i used to. Also i have booked my driving practical test on the 10th of December.

@Wyatt Delighted that my story motivated you, brother! Itā€™s great that you havenā€™t had urges. My urges came back on day 40, before that, there were hardly any. Keeping our mind clean of lustful thoughts is very useful in keeping urges away, and if they do come, they are weak.

Iā€™ve experienced quite a few of the benefits in that manā€™s story, and some benefits I feel Iā€™m just starting to experience. We have to remember that weā€™ve been masturbating to pornography for years and throwing away our health and vital energy. Weā€™ve been running a marathon while dehydrated and carrying a 40kg rucksack. We canā€™t even imagine how much better life can be for us when we escape from many years of addiction.

@Tuku Glad that my videos provide hope, my friend. Those goals sound inspiring! Youā€™re already motivating others and sharing good advice with others here on the forum - keep it up!

@raj10 Itā€™s good to see that youā€™re understanding the concepts from the video and recognising the changes you need to make. They will definitely help you on your new streak.

Start over again fully committed to what youā€™ve said here. If you struggle, come and share it with your fellow heroes. Donā€™t fight alone. It really can be the last time you use that sentence - the last time you have to start all over again.

Listen to Tukuā€™s advice. You can do like I did. I set the goal of 365 days, then forgot about it after day 3. My goal was to get through the next 24 hours clean, and every time I made it, it was an achievement. I proved to myself daily that I was escaping the addiction. When your goal is too huge, you never get to celebrate and acknowledge your accomplishments. Our self-esteem repairs with each goal achieved. One day clean. One morning clean, one afternoon, one evening. And this thought process helps us think ahead through the day to anything that might trigger a relapse and how to overcome it when that time comes.

@Frankensteinmonster Awesome work reaching 10 days again! So close to the longest streak - letā€™s smash that record and keep going! One day at a time, in shaā€™Allah Azza Wa Jalla.

Adventurer league coming up next!

@BenThor Keeping busy really helps brother! Itā€™s really great watching your progress. Just be sure youā€™re prepared for when urges return.
