The Dude as a good example

This is partly a fun post and partly serious.
I just rewatched “The Big Lebowski” for the 20th time or so, but this was the first time I noticed what a great attitude the protagonist has regarding pornography and sex in general.
Of course, you don’t have to agree with everything he does or says, but I’m talking about a few scenes in particular.
For instance, when people confront him with sexuality in a situation where something else is on his mind, he just doesn’t get it. He asks about his stolen rug, they ask him if he likes sex, he’s like: man, I was talking about my rug, this has nothing to do with it.
Same when he talks with a known boss in the pornography industry and later (drunken) refers to him as “the guy who treats objects like women”.
For me, this personifies a healthy relation to the whole subject. If it doesn’t matter, it won’t distract you. If other things are more important, so be it. And if you like a person and this person has an interest in you, go on and have sex.
Strongly recommend the movie to anyone, same as “Don Jon”, a movie about a ■■■■-addict (good way to make people aware of the addiction if you go watch a movie with them  )
