Is there any strong correlation between success in nofap and spirituality ??

3.41 Therefore, O Arjuna, best of Bharatas, in the very beginning curb this great symbol of sin (lust) by regulating the senses, and slay this destroyer of knowledge and self-realisation.
These are a few quotes from Bhagawad Gita about this matter, Lust is the biggest enemy of human being and is the most difficult to overcome out of all material entanglements, but if one wants to develop spirituality, one wants to have complete self realisation or realisation of his relationship with God, efforts to curb lust must be very first step.

There can only be a correlation if you want it to be. Your spirituality is only as good as your spiritual practices. Nofap as it is is a physical practice and not a spiritual one. Examples of spiritual practices are praying in your own way, social services etc. These practices are recommended to be done along with nofap to help you grow as a person as a whole. But nofap can be done without spirituality as well. If you want to rely on spirituality to help you in your nofap journey then you can try ofcourse. But it is not your easy one way ticket to escape the addiction. It’s mostly just your effort. You have to put in the effort first and only then ask God for assistance right? Do your part first and leave the rest to god. Don’t rely on him

I believe that there is a spiritual relationship between sexual and spiritual energy. When we do not engage in sex or sexual practices our sexual energy increases, we can then direct that sexual energy to become spiritual energy. When we learn to redirect this sexual energy into spiritual energy automatically without thought or effort we find a place of peace and harmony within ourselves and the world around us. We find connection not disconnection, people and animals want to be around us because they can see the light shining from our spirit, we become a beacon of hope for all those still trapped within the cycles of sex, porn and masturbation. We are more connected with God, creation and the universe, because we have started to transcend the physical and it’s drives and urges, we become more spiritual and less physical.
Just my opinion.

Your opinion are great but the million dollar question is how do you channelize your sexual energies into spiritual ones ?
More importantly if sex is seen as sin or something forbidden,then why did the creator of us create sex in the first place ??
Sex between husband and wife is seen as sacred then why sex with random people is not seen as normal ?

I mean everything can be used for good or bad…god gave us a choice.for example we can use fire to cook food…to make us feel warmer…or we can destroy anything , we can burn other people we can burn forsest.water csn be used for drinking to heal …or we can drown someone …there is sex…we can use it to reproduce…and the main point of sex is literally it…but we human had a choice…and decided itnto use for pleasure lust and other things like doing pornography

Sex is viewed differently around the world, here where I live multiple sex partners is normal among single people. It’s only the very religious that call it sin. What is normal in one country or culture is different in another.
How I turn sexual energy into spiritual energy is not difficult…
First it is about attitude, what I think of what I am feeling. When I am feeling horny I am feeling a lot of sexual energy, but I don’t think of it as horny or sexual energy, I think of it as spiritual energy… I then imagine that energy flowing up into my heart combining with my spirit and empowering it. When I am feeling the most horny is when I feel charged with spiritual energy. I love the feeling of it. Call it feeling horny or spiritual energy, call it whatever you like, but if I relapse that feeling goes away, I lose that energy to achieve my dreams and desires. I really love the feeling of that energy in my body.
I don’t know if that helps or even if it makes sense to anyone else?

A good cardio can help too. Running and stuff. You keep it regular you’ll start getting your feel good hormones from exercise and not sex and related stuff. We can call it one form of sexual transmutation.

On long streaks of nofap the feeling is constantly present, you feel huge amounts of sexual energy (horniness) that is transmuted into spiritual energy. I love the feelings both feelings horny and spiritual energy because they both fuel me achieve, I also enjoy the feeling simply because of the feeling.
