Recommend using Libby app if e book and audiobooks are your thing. Use your library card and see what places use it in your area. The best part? You can have multiple cards the app. And yes i believe apple and droid useable.

I love you brother but i can’t learn it for you

As per your choice. But it’s not necessary to buy books you are reading for leisure time.

My Family and other animals -
Gerald Durrell :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
Brilliant!!! True story about the Durrell family moving to & living in Corfu in 1935, and Gerald’s interest in animal life. Well worth a read, very funny and gives a glimpse into an older generation.

Kafka on the shore, :white_check_mark::white_check_mark: weird!
Wind up bird chronicles, :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark: weird!!!
Norwegian Wood, :white_check_mark: depressing
1Q84, :white_check_mark::white_check_mark: quirky
The Elephant Vanishes (shorts) :white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
-Haruki Murakami

My stroke of insight - Jill Taylor Ph.D :white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
True story of a Neuroscientist who had a stroke, her journey towards recovery, and different perspectives from using different parts of the brain. Very interesting.

Finding Sanctuary -
Abbot Christopher Jamison :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:

The road less travelled - M Scott Peck :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:

Jung and the story of our time -
Laurens van der Post :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:

Memories, Dreams, Reflections :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
-CG Jung

The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
Repetitive and useful!

Some Max Lucado (christian writer) - nice, nothing ground breaking, but my gf likes.

Conversations with God 1 + (2)
Neale Donald Walsch :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
I had a deep conversion when first reading - “what if I could actually dialogue with God?”

Books I haven’t finished or currently reading,

Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy!!! (hilarious)

Ray Bradbury:
Fahrenheit 451 -
The Martian Chronicles (shorts)

Gerald Durrell - The Whispering Land

Jordan Peterson - 12 rules for life
(obvious stuff really)

2666 - Roberto Bolano :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
Like Murakami, a bit weird, but got tired half way through with all the details of murders etc - it’s a HUGE book,… And still don’t know how the first part ties in with the second,…still very entertaining.

CG Jung -
The Undiscovered Self :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
Psychology and Religion - :white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark::white_check_mark:
(case studies)
Animus and Anima - Emma Jung

Living, Loving & Learning - Leo Buscaglia

Men without women - Murakami (I got bored)

Biography
The phenomenon of man
Le Milieu Divin

The Cloud of unknowing - attributed to Saint Denis

The experience of God - David Bentley Hart

The man who mistook his wife for a hat
-Oliver Sacks

The Odyssey - Homer

Since there’s no library shop nearby, I have to get it online. :disappointed:

Don’t know if you’re suggesting I’ve read a lot, because I’d disagree. My LDR gf however has read hundreds of books.

Man, you and your gf both are book worms. I think you both probably have met in a library or book store for the first time.:joy:
