Hello my fellow companions. I’m the younger brother AnonUser. Hope you are doing well!

Currently I’m following Soaring Eagle’s book on PMO recovery, which I highly recommend. It is full of life changing ideas and it’s helped me change my point of view about nofap.

The core ideas are the following:
-Study daily about nofap to build high awareness. Undo the PMO brainwash.
-Keep up your focus, never relax. Cut fantasies at 0.01 seconds.
-Reboot professionaly. No indulgence allowed.
-Cultivate your health. Rebooting is not enugh by itself.

High awareness + strong focus = rebooting succesfully

As for what I’m writing this post, I require your cooperation. I’d gladly appreciate if you could share here the following:
-Guides on nofap
-Guides on health cultivation (meditation, fitness, diet…)
-Your succes or failiure testimonies (reading testimonies is key at the recovery as said by Soaring Eagle)

Today I studied Soaring Eagle’s season 20 following my routine. I’ve decided to summarize it here to assimilate it better, and maybe help some brothers at their journey. Not my words now:

SEASON 20: TYPES OF RELAPSING [Part 1]

Relapses happen everyday. After a relapse we may feel discouraged. At first we are full of determination and courage. As time goes on we lose some. As we keep relapsing we might loose faith in ourselves. Symptoms tell you to stop, your body can’t hold it anymore. Yet you still go on, addiction is to strong. Most brothers are like this: Aware of the problem but unable to stop.

However relapsing shouldn’t be feared. Not studying should. Without studying (about nofap) your awarenes will stay the same, and you’ll forever fail.

Rebootin only by willpower will end in a failiure.

Many brothers ask: Can anyone reboot succesfully first try? Answer is probably not.

Most of us will try to reboot at our teens. That’s because the body has a natural trend to ask for reboot. But in that stage most will try the willpower method and fail. I was the same. I did not reboot first time and failed countless times until my awareness improved by studying.

Let me use an example:
Do you think someone can learn how to drive a car first try? Probably they’ll smash the car.

Rebooting is the same. You must learn a set of methodologies and theory. Won’t be able to succed otherwise. Rebooting must be professional.

Next I’ll sumarize the different types of relapses:

1. Relapse due to mood: Bored, angry, depressed, tired, excesive happines.

2. Relapse due to doubting: Doubting about rebooting will fog the mind. Result will be failiure.

3. Calling for a relapse: P@rn images or videos. Result will end in a relapse.

4. Relapse due to procrastination at the bed: Very common, must be fixed.

5. Relapse due to stress or pressure

6. Relapse due to s@xual fantasies: Very common, fantasies are the prelude of a relapse. This includes remembering too.

7. Relapse due to guard down: Thinking you have succeeded, as soon as you let your guard down, you’ll relapse.

8. Relapse due to testing your will: Never test if you are no longer addicted.

9. Relapse due to touching morning erecrion: Don’t touch.

10. Relapse due to testing your s@xual function: Very common between brothers who are trying to heal from erectile disfunction and premature ejaculation.

11. Relapse due letting be influenced by others: Dont hear them. Don’t go to perverted places.

12. Relapse due to alcohol: Alcohol wil lead to lust and a relapse.

13. Relapse due to wet dreams: One’s determination is debilitated after a wet dream. Keep up your guard.

14. Weekend or holidays relapse: Too much time, being bored will end in a relapse.

15. Relapse due to tonic or too much meat: If you don’t mind your thoughts will end in a relapse.

16. Relapse due to “masturbation is healthy” theories: After reading those theories your determination will be debilitated.

17. Relapse due to the girlfriend or wife

18. Relapse due to kegel exercises or jelqing

19. Habitual relapse: When relapsing turns into a daily habit, the impulse to give in will be very strong.

There’s a saying: Knowing your enemy and yourself, 100 battles will result in 100 victories.

Once you know the types of relapses you’ll keep up your guard. Keep up your guard, persist on your studies, and learn from your relapses. This is the method to succed.
