PMO and chronic fatigue syndrome

Imagine a person who has been watching pornography since the age of 12 and is now 29 years old. He watches pornography every day for several hours, on average around 5 hours a day, while constantly “edging” without taking breaks for years. Could such a person struggle with chronic fatigue syndrome? According to research, this could be caused by dysfunction in the reward system, which is the same area of the brain that is affected by pornography. This discussion is not about a person who watches pornography for 10 minutes a day or 2-3 times a week, but rather someone who spends several hours every day watching hundreds of films and edging.

I am struggling with symptoms such as: constant feelings of fatigue regardless of how much I sleep, brain fog, concentration problems, social withdrawal, feeling weak both mentally and physically. In addition, I have restless leg syndrome, which according to research may also be caused by low dopamine levels and an imbalance of this neurotransmitter. I am very curious about how much my very deep addiction has influenced my symptoms. Believe it or not, I used to watch ■■■■ for 10 hours a day and this lasted for weeks and months.

I have been trying to exercise at the gym or at home, but after each workout, I feel very tired, physically and mentally exhausted, as if my body is functioning at 20%. I have undergone many tests, checked for sleep apnea, thyroid, liver, kidneys, heart, blood pressure, sugar, insulin, vitamin B12, D3, folic acid, testosterone, prolactin, estrogen, parasites, bacteria, and had an abdominal ultrasound. I have dozens of test results that show I am healthy on paper, but I feel like a wreck. People everywhere write that pornography sometimes causes fatigue, but to the extent that I experience it? I can barely function. I remember that my deep addiction has been progressing for about 10 years. I started watching increasingly brutal scenes. After a few hours of watching ■■■■, I could be physically exhausted. I would step away from the computer and immediately lie down on the bed, falling asleep within a few seconds. Please be honest with me, can my chronic and deep addiction cause such terribly strong fatigue and the rest of my symptoms? Or should I look for another reason?

My experience says the weakness you feel like you get tired within less amount of workout etc.
It have higher chance that P and M are the cause
Because these things when done on a daily basis
For months can reduce the testosterone levels
And thus energy levels will be lower and you won’t feel like you want to workout just the glance of the weights will make you feel tired
And probably won’t workout it’s more of mental problem than physical one.
You lack purpose and motivation in life
Find your purpose, set your goal and stay focused and eat a healthy diet protein rich food or you can take protein powder to gain strength
Anything that has a starting, has an ending.

Im going to give you a short but simple answer to try out.

Go 30 Days with no p0rn,masturbation or any manual sexual release.Once completed come back and tell me how you feel.
And when i say no p0rn i mean no instagram models,no nudity,no edging or just peaking for a few seconds.Nothing i mean nothing that will stimulate your brain to thinking about sex or masturbation.
You need a serious hard reboot in my opinion if doctors cant fix you then its obviously something related to your addiction.

Yes we all do trust me,it’s not going to be easy to give up,heck ive been struggling 15 years with about 7 years of trying to quit.I wish i can truly say i never will again, but these past few weeks have felt different only because of one reason and one reason only that im about to share.
HAVE YOU HAD ENOUGH?ARE YOU ACTUALLY READY FOR A NEW LIFE?IF YOU DIED TOMORROW WOULD YOU BE HAPPY ABOUT YOUR LIFE?IS P0RN WORTH IT,LIKE REALLY IS IT?
I can go on and on but by the way you wrote that reply to me i can already tell you are not ready to quit forever. You have to have a burning desire to become better and just do the work your meant to.I love girls, unhealthy food and especially cigarettes as much as the next man, but at the end of the day it’s not going to take me where i need to be so therefore its all got to go.

I really want to stop, I just don’t function like a normal human being. I’m a wreck of a person, both mentally and physically.

Try reading the book EasyPeasy method of quitting ■■■■ if you haven’t already. That book might help you. Apart from this, in most cases after one year of abstaining from any form of ■■■■ brain usually returns to the baseline. In your case, it might take two but you will of course recover. Apart from this restless legs and some other anomalies like this might be simply out of side effects of PMO like nervousness and low energy. I always thought my lower back pain or weak legs were because of PMO. But when I was around day 60 I realised that to some extent my sitting posture, lack of workout and low calcium intake was also responsible. So as I increased my milk intake the problem did recede a little bit. But yes, PMO must not be there at all.

Bro believe me my story is the same as yours. I watched P daily for 7 hours for like 8 years. Ngl i wouldn’t watch movies/animes for fun for me fun was watching P. I used to watch P series, Would download the best scenes also movies maybe 2 hours P movies, like literally full P movies. My daily routine was: Wakeup watch some P then to washroom to brush and get ready for school (grade 4), Talk to my friends about P yeah you heard it right 90% of talks with my friends would be about P, Come back from school and straight to my PC, I’d take my food to my room and watch P I’d not even fap but still watch it aimlessly if the scenes were good I’d fap around 2 faps was my average but there was day I’d do it more than 4 times. Then around evening I’d go to play with the boys in the park but after a few years that too was replaced by P. And then go back to bed.

This used to be my daily routine from when i was 10 years upto 18, i have been doing M since i was 8 if I’m not wrong through YT🥺, yeah bro I’d M through YT, at that time i hadn’t learn about P, ngl i used to think maybe women don’t show their private parts on internet (I was really innocent) and also P was ban in my country and it is till now, But soon a friend of mine showed me the actual stuff and boom since then till i was 18 all i ever did was FAP FAP , And in COVID I had soooo much time that I’d watch maybe for 12 hours straight 12 hours of P. I had the same problems as you maybe more. A good friend told me about NoFap and he really helped me. I started taking it serious within 3 months of COVID (in 2019). After going through HELL going through soo much pain ahhh man The first step felt like it was impossible which was deleting around 3TB of my P stash which was hand picked by me,The best scenes tbh which were waaay faar from reality, Really my Harddrive was like a dungeon, it had all sorts of genre folder. I called my friend to my place he motivated me to delete it and i finally did it in 2019. And since then till today my life was soo hard soo amazing soo boring soo fun soo everything. After trying for 4 years TODAY I CAN FINALLY SAY I’M 6 MONTHS CLEAN FROM P AND 5 MONTHS FROM M

IT WAS ALL WORTH IT :slightly_smiling_face: !!!
THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IN SIMPLE WORDS WOULD BE GET SOME HELP AND LEAVE THIS EVIL FOR YOUR FUTURE. LITERALLY UPROOT THIS FROM YOUR LIFE. ITS NEVER TOO LATE.

Tf, can’t believe you came back from that shithole and now on almost 150th day. Makes me believe I can do it. Since past 2 years, I have kept it under control except for 2-3 months.

Good going brother
