Before making such statements, please know that north India itself has many mother tongues and Hindi is a medium to connect for them.

Yes. I know some marathi, bengali, kashmiri, sindhi are all regional languages were spoken by nothern states. But u should tell that things to others who think hindi must be spoken by all indians.

Same applies for bengali I think.
There are some obnoxious people I agree, but that doesn’t mean you can just go on to make such sweeping statements.
There are some more languages - like Awadhi, Magadhi etc. which are spoken in supposedly “Hindi heartland”. And they are different from Hindi.

Thnk u so much @Nep_12 . I too don’t want to take part in controversy., Actually I had a dm here in this app. There a guy send me something in hindi. I replied that make that phrase into english as I don’t know hindi. He said why u don’t know hindi. Hindi is beautiful lang. U should learn it first. We indians must learn it. I ended up the convo with a reply which makes him to not to txt again. I can make a Screenshot and send it here. But I dont want to do. So Iam always being conscious about other’s opinions about this. I think this controversy happened with me in 2 of the topics here.

Languages are a medium of communication. Don’t feel sad or happy about it’s geographical coverage.
As long as you have a medium to communicate with your loved ones without any bias, it’s fine. For most humans it’s English.
