He will be fine , God bless him .

Bhai is on his way to be GOAT :fire: . Best of luck bhai.

Bhai , as a beginner try to train full body 3 times a week, you will get most out of the newbie gains . If time is an issue try to do half exercises one day and rest another day. 2-3 sets of one exercise for a muscle group is sufficient. Like 3 sets(10-12 reps each) of bench press one day , then do inclined bench press to train upper chest in another workout session.

Try to add 1-2 spoons of gheen in your diet and eat caloric dense food , nuts , seeds , and oats as nerbo brother said.

NIMHANS (National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences) in Bangalore is primarily known for its focus on mental health and neurosciences. While it offers excellent treatment for neurological disorders, its specialization in spine injuries might not be as prominent as in dedicated orthopedic or neurosurgery centers.

For spine injuries, you might want to consider hospitals or clinics that specifically focus on orthopedic surgery or neurosurgery. Institutes like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) or specialty hospitals that deal specifically with spine care would be more suitable for comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation. Anyways it’s your choice at the end.
I will pray for him, he will be fine and will get well soon! :sparkles:

I am a vegetarian. So first of all thanks for that detailed post. I was constantly looking for protein sources these days. But I do have some questions

Do you consume whey protein ? If so , Is it isolate or concentrate ? Which brand ? Also do you know some good brands available at 1k - 2k ?

Isolate protein and concentrate protein are two common forms of whey protein, each with distinct characteristics:

  1. Whey Protein Isolate:

Protein Content: Contains around 90-95% protein by weight.

Lactose and Fat: Lower in lactose and fat, making it a better option for people with lactose intolerance or those on a low-fat diet.

Processing: Goes through additional filtration, which removes more carbohydrates, fats, and lactose.

Cost: Usually more expensive due to the extra processing.

Use: Ideal for those who need a high-protein, low-fat, and low-carb option, especially in a lean-cutting phase.

  1. Whey Protein Concentrate:

Protein Content: Contains about 70-80% protein by weight.

Lactose and Fat: Higher in lactose, fats, and carbohydrates compared to isolate, but still relatively low.

Processing: Less processed than isolate, which retains more nutrients.

Cost: More affordable than isolate.

Use: Suitable for those looking to build muscle and don’t mind a bit of extra fat or carbs in their protein intake.

In summary, if you’re looking for higher purity and minimal lactose, go for isolate. If you want a more economical option and don’t mind a bit more fat or carbs, concentrate is a good choice.

Bro stop using chatgpt LOL. These are old data, probably pre-covid. MuscleBlaze is much popular and costlier now. Also, prices for almost all the brands are now higher than in that post.

bro protien shake destroys the good bacteria in intestines

I earlier used to take As-it-is, but it had the problem of lump formation, which can be easily solved using a shaker. The whey protein isolate was fine and didn’t cause any stomach issues.

Now I have shifted to MuscleBlaze Rich Chocolate flavour and it suits me more. I have seen more rapid change, which might be coming from my regular gym workouts. Overall, I guess MuscleBlaze is fine. Although for Creatine it is not so good and you can look for other options.

My advice in this phase will be to try 500g packs of these three brands one by one and see which suits you the most - Optimum Nutrition, As-it-is and MuscleBlaze. Big muscles (brand) is a definite No from my side based on the review that I received from one of my friend who used it. And also the overall trust level of the brand is not good. You can try other brand too by taking 500g pack which will provide you around 16-17 servings. I would not recommend taking more so that you can switch easily without committing a lot of money and neither less so that you can trace your development and interest in the product throughout a two-week period.
