It is said to do that in Islam to put a barrier between any path that may lead to illegal sexual intercourse, Allah created us and he knows what we must do to live good life, he has given a guide to follow and that is Quran and our prophet(PBUH) teachings.
But it is strange that in Egypt they follow some rules of Islam but allow to wear exposing clothesā¦! Now this is strangeā¦
When opposite sex interact with each other, there is a natural attraction towards each other, whether you want to accept it or not, that is the reason Islam forbids unnecessary interaction, except if there is need to talk but it shouldnāt be private.
And regarding age I donāt believe there is any limit, if you have reached the age of puberty, then Islam allows you to get married, it is because of the culture and society who have made marriage difficult by saying you are too young and require a high salary, a normal stable job is enough*.
When a person has illegal sexual intercourse then todayās world says, āit is his age, there is nothing wrong in thatā, but when you get married early like around 20years of age if you are doing job and capable, still they will say, " Very early marriage", āhe canāt control himselfā.blah blah blah.
All double standards to prove their points.
When you make marriage easy then these addictions will have less space in this world,
