awesome to see your mindset shift after reading that book and how you remain dedicated to the grind.

My motivation has taken a dip tho. Maybe I need discipline
always discipline > motivation
Yeah man, discipline is hard to conquer. But I have to.
Thanks @_TIGER for some reason the yesterday’s brawl pushed me to do more push-ups today.
New limit: 9 push-ups in one go
what’s your body weight? if you are comfortable sharing it
I think between 53-58 kg.
Why did you asked tho?
to gauge your strength. If your body weight was very high even 9 pushups would have been a great feat. anyways, keep moving forwards. I have around 64 kgs bodyweight so if it was around that I could gauge how strong you are based on how many pushups I can do.
How much you can do rn?
I see, you meant relative strength. Because a person with less weight will also have arms in the same proportion
currently with proper form if I do them little quickly I can do around 50 without break
That’s a lot given you go completely down and then come up by only using strength of your arms.
Yes. But I’ve been working out for years now. Specialized in strength training. There was a time I couldn’t cross 10 pushups but with consistency anything is possible.
Also it’s not strength of arms primarily. If that’s the main force then you’re probably doing it wrong. Push ups are primarily a chest exercise. But variations are present that can be used to target arms. However the classic one is mainly for chest.
I have seen lot of videos and I follow that. My posture is correct. But I had to use tricep muscle more and chest muscle less to complete a pushup. Maybe my form is little different.
10 is a luxury for me rn. (Talking about 10 in one go)
I can do 50 push ups but I ain’t shredded, also my BMI is above average. My goal is to be shredded and go with calisthenics. If you are shredded and do calisthenics could you tell me how I can go forward?
check out k boges youtube channel it is the best calisthenics channel in my opinion.
23 push-ups in one single day, my highest beating the previous 21.
I want to breach the 50 mark someday.
you can do that easily actually, by doing pushups from time to time like in sets of 5, 10 times a day.
