Nightfall is a normal body function there is no way to avoid it. But as your streak grows it will reduce drastically It is completely normal and infact it is good If you’re getting a nightfall means your body is healing. No need to count it as a relapse as long you’re not edging

There is no scientific evidence regarding nightfalls. Better to let it happen regardless of circumstances.
Some say it happens because of high
semen volume or some say to prevent prostate cancer. Also there is a big role in sleeping postion too.
If you’re getting 1 nightfall per week then it’s not a serious concern and will reduce drastically as your streak grows.
Just never peek to any nudity. It can also cause a nightfall to happen

Most probably you’re sleeping in prone position stop sleeping in that position also try to wash your feets , eat proper food not too much spicy.
Also don’t peek to any nudity better to keep your phone away while sleeping.

Nightfall is not considered as a relapse but it will be considered as a relapse if you watch the nasty nasty before going to bed, hehehe, I mean ofcourse, you know that.
So here’s what I know about nightfall. During the addiction you masturbate regularly. Now your body gets accustomed to that habit and when you finally wanna quit it and begin nofap, when your streak goes for more than 5 days or a week, you experience nightfall. Why? Like I said your body is so used to regular masturbation it wants to push out that pressure somehow. Like @Covertxomic mentioned, as your streak grows it will reduce automatically because now your body is getting rewired, it’s getting used to a new habit.
Even if you have a stressful day you might experience nightfall. I’ve experienced that.
So yeah, it’s normal. But refrain from edging. Softporn is something more dangerous than actual ■■■■. It’ll destroy your streak. It’s a gateway to falling into deep hole again. That’s why it’s better if you stay off social media as it’s loaded with softporn.
