One of the most frequent times of relapsing is in the morning…
Because your mind is still asleep and you don’t have the full control
Sometimes I manage to be clean for a week but just placing a small piece of duct tape on my finger tips.
It really helps! When I’m about to wake up and my hands slides underneath the sheet in order to relapse the tactile sensation from the small duct tape piece on my fingertips really saves the day.
Of coarse that’s not a real permanent solution but it really works 90% of time.
The thing is usually I eventually run out of duct tape or right before sleeping I’m too tired to get into the process of doing that.
Any over “(hardware-) hack advices” you could provide to add to my"defense system that you probably have incorporated in your life?
Yes…I know some of you are going to say motivation and will and write things down but this thread is about using the tools and the environment around as external factors to avoid a morning (automatic) relapse.
