How to achieve Batman level of self discipline? Looking for answers

Hey everyone!! I’m currently trying to achieve self discipline for my mind, body and soul. I know this takes time and I can’t do it all at once or I will fall apart. I am going to try to add something to my life or pull somethings away every 2 weeks. Small achievable steps that will increase my self discipline. Currently I’m journaling daily, meditating 15minutes a day, and last weeks add on was cold showers.

I was thinking maybe adding in fixing my posture or becoming a nose breather (I’m guilty of being a mouth breather)

Just looking for some more ideas or things you have done that help build self discipline.

Your approach sounds fantastic! Breaking it down into small, achievable steps is key to maintaining long-term progress. Adding something new every two weeks allows you to focus on one thing at a time without feeling overwhelmed.

In terms of other ideas to build self-discipline, here are a few suggestions that might resonate with you:

  1. Exercise Routine – Whether it’s a 10-15 minute daily workout or yoga session, physical movement helps with both body discipline and mental clarity. Even a short walk in nature can help reset your mind.

  2. Limiting Screen Time – Try setting boundaries on how much time you spend on your phone or computer, particularly on social media. You could try a “phone-free” hour or evening to focus on something else like reading or reflection.

  3. Healthy Eating Habits – You could add meal prepping or simply being more mindful of your food choices. Perhaps try cutting out one junk food or processed snack for two weeks.

  4. Daily Gratitude Practice – Journaling 3-5 things you’re grateful for each morning or night can build positivity and mental discipline, especially when combined with your current journaling practice.

  5. Reading for Personal Growth – Aim for reading 10-20 pages a day of a book that enhances your mindset or skills (even if it’s just a few pages, it adds up over time).

  6. Time Blocking – Schedule your day into blocks of focused work, breaks, and self-care time. This helps you be more intentional with how you spend your time and holds you accountable.

  7. Sleep Hygiene – Set a consistent bedtime routine to improve your sleep quality. This could mean turning off screens an hour before bed or creating a calming pre-sleep ritual.

  8. Decluttering – Start by organizing a small space (like a drawer or desk). This can help clear the mental clutter and improve focus.

As for the nose breathing, that’s a great goal! Breathing through your nose instead of your mouth improves oxygen intake and reduces stress. You might want to try it alongside a mindfulness or grounding technique to build it into your routine more effectively.

I love your mindset—you’re on the right path by taking things step by step and celebrating the progress along the way. Keep it up!
