Great moment in my medical career (24M)

I work as a general practioner doctor whose job is taking history from complicated cases and report their history, investigations and quieries to eminent experts abroad.
Yesterday (3-11-2021), a parent who I was following up on his son’s condition for 3 months, came to the office. He came to receive his medical report so he can start the treatment of his son. I asked a fellow doctor to ask the parent to wait for a while so I can say hi to him. We greeted each other and he told me something that made me feel the beauty of medicine; he said
" Doctor, thank you for your efforts with my son, before meeting you I was in a mess and did not know what to do. Now, I know what to do with my son’s condition and we will start his treatment soon. Thank you for doing your best and being patient with us"
We said our farewells, returned to my office, teared up a bit then continued my work.
