Good and free porn blocker apps?

Hey y’all.
I’m looking for a good and free porn blocking app. To me, “Good” would mean it blocks porn sites and images but does not interfere with me using other sites on the internet, it has a way to block me from using porn sites/images without blocking me out of my phone or other sites or apps on my phone, and I can’t just go and turn the porn blocker off by myself. I’m open to apps that let someone else block my access so I can’t unblock it myself. I tried one like that before, but it also reported all my use of the internet to my friend, not just when I tried to access porn. I didn’t like that…i didn’t want to them to know how much I’m online and what I’m doing on there all the time.

I might be willing go pay for an app, but would prefer to find an effective free one first if I can. What’s worked for you?

Peace,
MJ

Tried this app few days back just to see how it works very awesome it exceeded my expection, searched some keywords like ‘bikini’ ‘hot girls’ on purpose to check how it works, it blocked those webpages are redirected me to the Google homepage, really nice. But my concern is, it collects loads of data from our mobile also it requires some special accesses as well in our mobile. As a security nerd, uninstalled this immediately as I installed

Ya man that’s the main problem with such permission asking apps… that why i don’t use them too…

It’s better to improve our self control that depending upon an artificially created app to take control of our self control

Exactly, self control is better than giving our personal data to those apps

spin browser
k9 web protection ( safe kids )

spin browser is best but there is no app blocker which you can trust .
the only way is self control / accountabililty partner apps like net nanny(paid),qustodio
,k9 safe kids, and other .
.* reducing mobile & pc usage time helps alot .
according to the book
7 habbits of highly effective people
"PUT FIRST THING FIRSTS
eg. it means you ve to do that things which are urgent & important in your life ,& not ones which are not urgent & unimportant.
in this way when you ll start creative works then your screen time ll reduce automatically & addiction also .

I just locked every single potential triggering apps(chrome, google, youtube, telegram etc, which i have to use now and then) with my built in applock, with the password only known to my brother, so I can only use them in his presence. I have uninstalled whatever apps which are triggering, and useless(instagram) etc. I think this is a good idea, because external blocker programs can be compromised.
For whatever browsing purposes, I use the SPIN browser, which filters out almost all adult content and so far I’m satisfied with it. I physically cannot search or look up anything triggering, there’s also option to totally block any images, and it is impossible to bypass the filters, while browsing on the app.
While I agree that self control is the best control, totally removing any potential triggering substances from your environment. A meth addict cannot even think of quitting meth and rebooting if he carries around meth in his pocket 24/7. So, atleast in the early days, do block everything up meticulously.

Yes like @neetwarrior said, blockers are good too
I use inbuilt blockers, as in,

iOS:

  1. Screentime–> content restrictions
  2. Delete all apps like YouTube etc. Safari is enough for research. And set content restrictions so you can’t private search on safari.

Android:

  1. Digital wellbeing --> focus mode --> Choose all apps to block while on focus mode.
  2. Disable apps

There is no need for anything on my phone, so besides system apps, on my phone I only have rewire and some study apps. Google, Yotube I have disabled and blocked (dual protection) via focus mode ( I have focus mode on 24/7) which is equivalent to deleting them.

Besides on my phone I have blocksite to block these apps and I don’t know the password to unblock them but someone else does.
