Let’s keep it more secret and discreet. People reveal here kinda personal stories and I wish it was more private.

Also, @Taher how do you deal with bots, adware and trolls?

I would love to do that at some point however currently it’s important to keep forum open for attracting new members.

Most get filtered by the 2 step verification process, those who pass that get flagged by the automated spam filters, and finally the remaining few get flagged/reported by some user sooner or later.

But people can’t find info if forum keep info private, most people still not aware about porn addiction

Im also open to alternatives like:

  • making some sections private like Diary, Confession, Need an Advice, Stories etc.
  • let users with certain trust level mark their topics as private to users with similar privilege

For now I will request to delete my personal input on this forum.

I do agree with the point that some areas of the forum should only be accessible to registered users however I don’t think the whole forum should be like that, purely because alot of people on this planet find inspiration/answers to the problems they’re having through forums like this one.

When you increase your “trust level”. Both of us are members right now. I dunno tho how to increase it.

I had “regular” trust level, but its gone and only title is remaining.

I just read this and now even I’m feeling concerned because I spit out personal stuff on forum. I think we can’t open up 100% on forums because non-members can read everything. Thanks for posting this BTW.

To get to trust level 3, in the last 100 days…

Must have visited at least 50% of days
Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 25% (capped at 500)
Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 25% (capped at 20k)
Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.*
Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
Must not have been suspended or silenced
