Five priorities from today- CHALLENGE

To strengthen my resolve to stay away from porn and masturbation, I will do these 5 things from today for 2 weeks to start with:

  1. Stay busy the entire day and work hard so that I get tired.

  2. Have a proper sleep because I can’t function without at least 7-8 hours of sound sleep.

  3. Try to sleep early and wake up early. Do some exercise in morning or evening.

  4. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

  5. Limit the use of Instagram to just 10-15 minutes in a day to only check the content that I find stress relieving (I follow a dog’s Instagram handle:D and it is a stress buster for me).

I pledge to not deviate from these five priorities for 2 weeks from today. I will update everyday here. Anyone else interested?

Day 1 results:

  1. Stay busy the entire day and work hard so that I get tired.- :heavy_check_mark: (I stayed busy all day yesterday.)

  2. Have a proper sleep because I can’t function without at least 7-8 hours of sound sleep.- :heavy_check_mark: (I had a 7 hours of sleep last night.)

  3. Try to sleep early and wake up early. Do some exercise in morning or evening.- :negative_squared_cross_mark: (Could not sleep early and could not wake up early. Did not exercise yesterday. I failed in this task.)

  4. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. :heavy_check_mark: (Finished at least three bottles of water totaling 3 litres of water.)

  5. Limit the use of Instagram to just 10-15 minutes in a day to only check the content that I find stress relieving. - :heavy_check_mark: (Successfully limited my use of Instagram yesterday.)

Day 2 results:

  1. Stay busy the entire day and work hard so that I get tired. - :heavy_check_mark: (Did my work, learned to cook a new dish as well, did grocery shopping, etc.)

  2. Have a proper sleep because I can’t function without at least 7-8 hours of sound sleep. :heavy_check_mark: (7.5 hours of sleep last night)

  3. Try to sleep early and wake up early. Do some exercise in morning or evening. :negative_squared_cross_mark: (Again failed in this task, I had some work so couldn’t sleep early)

  4. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. :heavy_check_mark: (Had about 3 litres of water yesterday)

  5. Limit the use of Instagram to just 10-15 minutes in a day to only check the content that I find stress relieving. :heavy_check_mark: (Staying away successfully from all Instagram triggers)

  2. Have a proper sleep because I can’t function without at least 7-8 hours of sound sleep. :heavy_check_mark: Done (7 hours of sleep last night)

  3. Try to sleep early and wake up early. Do some exercise in morning or evening. :heavy_check_mark: Partially done (Did some great workout in the evening including lifting weights. Couldn’t sleep early because of work)

  4. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. :heavy_check_mark: Done (Had about 3 litres of water yesterday)

  5. Limit the use of Instagram to just 10-15 minutes in a day to only check the content that I find stress relieving. :heavy_check_mark: Done (Staying away successfully from all Instagram triggers)
