Fantasizing is good (ONLY if done correctly)

You must be thinking, wtf is this guy talking about, but please hear me out. For the past 1.5 years, I have a strict regime of going on a run on weekdays and sometimes even on weekends. While running, I always use earphones with some good motivational songs. While doing the activities, I always fantasize about working really hard, running at a speed even Usain Bolt can’t beat me (I know this sounds stupid, but this works), being the best athlete of all time, while actually doing the workout. This gives me a sense of achievement and helps me push the limit a bit more further. Whenever I am tired, I fantasize about a scenario in which I have a chiseled body and I am running like a fucking cheetah, that actually gives me a boost of energy. Before, I was not able to run even 1 km, but now even 10km is not enough. This type of fantasizing is what I call “fantasize while excercise” try it guys, it really works.

It seems like a good technique! I believe it is more commonly referred to as visualization. Fantasizing is more thinking of unrealistic things, and is generally associated with being bad or unproductive. Whereas visualizing is prepping your mind to move forward with what you want

For me, beating Usain Bolt is fantasizing , but you are right. You got the point right.
