Day 33
Exodus 20:2-3 KJV
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shat have no other gods before me.

Some people think that PMO is god given pleasure but they are wrong. PMO is fornication of the flesh and wrong in Gods eyes. So we must place our hope in the one true God and not depend upon ourselves. Believe that you can overcome this and you are one step closer to godliness. Cleanliness is close to godliness. God will always provide a way to overcome this addiction and make you whole. Jesus ask a leper wilt thou be made whole? I believe Jesus is asking us the same question. I will answer yes Lord I want to be made whole. i fell more complete with Jesus in my heart and made whole the right way. I know that each day is hard to be made whole but we must take one day at a time. There is song from MercyMe that I like it is called Flawless. Here are some of the words “No matter the bumps’ no matter the bruise the cross has made you flawless”. I believe we all can be flawless in the cross if we take the time to look at the Jesus. Still Pray for me I am still struggling.
God Bless Ya’ll Please feel free to leave a comment.

Amen, brother! PMO is just a bait and switch with God’s pure design for sexuality. It’s like a cheap knockoff that’s made to look like the real thing. The thief cometh to steal, kill, and destroy, and that’s what satan (no, I’m not capitalizing his name, that ol rascal don’t deserve that much respect!) wants to do with it. But Christ is with us, and in us, leading us to all truth! God bless you, brother!

Day 34

Daniel 1:8 KJV
But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

We all have to be like Daniel and not defile ourselves with sexual impurity’s that is only meant for marriage. Releasing semen without marriage is fornication according to Ephesians 5:3 KJV “But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as become saints;”. So we must set ourselves apart from those that say PMO is okay but according the Bible it is not. So we must ask ourselves one important question “What Would Jesus Do?” We know that Jesus was perfect so you know that he didn’t commit any sins. Our Savior has set us apart and that we have a purpose in this world. Jesus said, “Go into all the world and tell them the good news of the gospel.” Why not tell all people in this world about the good news and tell them about Daniel how he set himself apart from not defiling himself.

Amen, brother! I’ve been surprised at “Christian leaders” that have said that masturbation was okay, and gave license to do so. I tried to convince myself of that, but the Spirit of God wouldn’t let me get by with believing that lie! Thank God for His leading into all truth! God bless you, brother!

Day 35

Isaiah 1:18 KJV
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

God is telling us to come together with others and reason among ourselves to find the truth in Christ. Our sins will be washed in Christs blood and we will be as white as snow. So lets all stand together and say Yes Lord wash this sin from my heart and help me to believe. Take away this doubt and help me to believe in you. I want to be red like crimson and be as wool. We all must do away with this addiction of PMO or God will look away from us and say on judgment day “Depart from me, I never knew you”. I would not to be like the the five foolish people that forgot there oil for their lamps. I want to be prepared for the day Jesus comes back. We must follow Jesus and be washed as white as snow in his blood.
Thanks ya’ll for listening and please leave a comment.

Amen! Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life! No man cometh to the father but by Him! My favorite promise that He made is in John 6:37! “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” I’m thankful for the day that I came to Him! He’s been with me in the midst of my trouble with this addiction, and He’s helped me in overcoming it this far! Thank you, Lord for your mercy that endures forever!

Day 36

Matthew 5:13 KJV
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

We are the salt that must minister to others about Jesus and how He delivered us from this addiction of PMO. If we go back to the habit then we have lost our salted flavor and be trodden under the feet of men. In other words others will laugh at us saying “I knew he or she could not make it”. We will feel ashamed and depressed. But I thank God my hope is in Jesus, for he is my deliverer and my shield. Fight back the urge and don’t loose your savour because you are stronger than your urge. There is a saying that has kept me strong “Suffer the pain of discipline or the pain of regret”. So what I say is stay strong and don’t give in or you will back where you have started.
Thank ya"ll for listening and please leave a comment.

You’re right, brother! The thing to remember in this addiction, is we’re not just representing ourselves: we’re also representing the One who has bought us! We’re not our own! God bless you, brother!

Day 37

Zephaniah 1:7 (KJV)
Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

In the day of the coming of Christ we shall all be ready to except our crowns. So while we live on this earth we shall tell others that we have hope and a place we can call home. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life no one come to the Father except through me”. Amen, I hope that all is ready to except the banquet that Christ has prepared for those who love Him. My hope and rest is in Christ Jesus my Savior. I am taking the next step to reach the hands of God and say that I am not worthy to enter this kingdom. On judgement day we will stand before a holy God and be judged by Christ. I want to be ready and tell other about Jesus Christ and how he has given me peace in my heart. We must tell other so that they can be prepared to meet Christ in the celestial city. So take time today and tell someone about Christ and be strong and courageous about it.
God bless ya’ll please leave a comment.

Day 38

Psalm 97:9 (KJV)
For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

I believe that some people set PMO above God and serve the addiction more. So we must set God above PMO and forget about the mindset of masturbation. God is exalted above the throne of the earth. My Savior is kind and the Lord always prays for all of us each and everyday. Be strong and courageous never give up this fight. There was a war in the beginning of creation against God and satan. Lucifer tried to take the throne of God, Lucifer was a beautiful angel and was cast out of heaven with some of his following angels. So that is why he is the prince of darkness and we must put on the armor of God.
Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV)
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Thank ya’ll for listening and please leave a comment.
Don’t give up and keep fighting.
God bless ya"ll.

As much as we don’t think of it that way, you’re exactly right! We do set PMO as a god in our lives. We don’t put God’s work and will for our lives first; we put the demands of our desires. It’s like Psalm 37:4 put in reverse: we chase the desires of our heart, and then we expect to be able to delight in the Lord. Me first, Jesus second, and others third. We don’t have JOY; we have YJO (yee-joh, i guess is how that would be pronounced ). Whatever it is we have, it’s a mess, unless we put Jesus on the throne of our heart! God bless you, brother!

Day 39

Psalm 38:21,22 KJV
Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
Make hast to help me, O Lord my salvation.

The Bible is a roadmap to heaven. We know that God will not forsake us and leave us. He will help us overcome this addiction and be our deliverer. So don’t give up and don’t surrender to temptation. I have written my triggers and gave them to the Lord to take care of. So to emphasize the point of this verse is please Lord don’t leave me in this temptation. Come quickly to my rescue My Lord and My God. We all must take the time to write down our triggers so that we will know that this will never happen again. God is above all gods and he is omniscient. Be the person that God will have you to be and don’t give up. Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret. God is the most important thing in our live today and set upon the throne of his kingdom for all eternity.
Isaiah 1:18 KJV
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Gd bless ya’ll and don’t give up.

Day 40

Proverbs 10:4 (KJV)
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the diligent maketh rich.

PMO people become discouraged because they think that it fulfills their desire. These people think it is okay to PMO and sometimes they enjoy it and then become depressed and all the worry’s of this world take hold of their thought and make it their god. So those who do not do PMO have riches that not in this world but in the next. When these two debate a cause the one who says it is okay then the other reaches for his Bible and reads Genesis 38, But the one that gives in is the one that wins the battle. James 4:7,8 says, Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hand, ye sinners; and purify your heart, ye doubled minded. So we must purify ourselves and cling to God for protection and comfort.Take to time today to clear your mind of any temptation and don’t think just do the right thing that pleases God. If you’d like to put a smile on Jesus’ face then do the right thing and don’t give in.

God bless ya’ll and be with the right spirit of truth.

John 14:1-4 (KJV)
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

There Is Plenty Of Room For Everyone!

What do you imagine when you picture paradise? Most of us probably imagine a scene from a movie or cartoon, with angels flying around playing harps, and a gigantic human-like man with a beard that is God. The same can be said for hell: a red devil running around with a pitchfork surrounded by flames. Obviously I have no idea whether or not these depictions are accurate and honestly, they are of no importance to me at all. In fact, I believe that these depictions are a disservice, taking away from the more important aspects of the Heavenly Kingdom. Remember this: there is plenty of room in Heaven for all of us. Christ is waiting for us and has shown us the way. However, we should not forget another point: there is also plenty of room in hell.

The Heavenly Paradise that the disciples often describe, as the important theologian Thomas Aquinas once noted, though often given human shape or proportion, is beyond anything we are capable of imagining. How heaven and hell look is not what we should be focusing on. What Christ says about the Heavenly Kingdom is important. Do not be troubled, do not be afraid; God is waiting and has made a place for us in Heaven. Christ lived to give us an example, so that each and everyone who lifts theirs heart up to the Lord and follows in Christ’s footsteps shall be welcomed. Thanks be to God.

Prayer
My God Almighty, I bask in the knowledge that you shall welcome
us to Heaven, knowing that I have a place next to you. How blessed I am, your lowly servant, clearly unworthy of such blessing! I shall do everything I can, O Lord above, to repay the debt that I owe you, a debt that all of existence owes you for
sacrificing your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that we may live forever. In his Holy name I pray, Amen.

Hey, @Believe_100 has been busy lately, and asked if I could fill in for him here as well, and put up a daily devotional. Continue to keep him in your prayers! Hold him up before God, like Aaron and Hur held up the arms of Moses! I hope that today’s devotional is a blessing to you!

I was reading in a devotional called My Utmost For His Highest, written many years ago by a man by the name of Oswald Chambers. This was actually the devotional from yesterday, but I got a blessing out of it, and I hope you will as well!

“And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD…”
Joshua 24:19 KJV

Have you the slightest reliance on anything other than God? Is there a remnant of reliance left on any natural virtue, any set of circumstances? Are you relying on yourself in any particular in this new proposition which God has put before you? That is what the probing means. It is quite true to say — “I cannot live a holy life”; but you can decide to let Jesus Christ make you holy. “Ye cannot serve the Lord God” — but you can put yourself in the place where God’s Almighty power will come through you. Are you sufficiently right with God to expect Him to manifest His wonderful life in you?

“Nay, but we will serve the Lord.” It is not an impulse, but a deliberate commitment. You say — “But God can never have called me to this, I am too unworthy, it can’t mean me.” It does mean you, and the weaker and feebler you are, the better. The one who has something to trust in is the last one to come anywhere near saying — “I will serve the Lord.”

We say — “If I really could believe!” The point is — If I really will believe. No wonder Jesus Christ lays such emphasis on the sin of unbelief. “And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” If we really believed that God meant what He said — what should we be like! Dare I really let God be to me all that He says He will be?

God Bless You In Your Fight!

John 13:29-32 (KJV)
For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

What will you do in your last hours?

“When I was in high school, one of my friends was the son of a diplomat. This meant that he had diplomatic immunity, so if he ever got in trouble with the law, he would walk away with no problems. The news of his misdeeds would still reach his parents however, and his father, the ambassador, did not appreciate hearing that his son had done something wrong.”

“One day my friend got into some serious trouble with the law. With his back against the wall, knowing full well that he would get in trouble, my friend tried everything he could to get away with no blame for his actions. He told the police everything that he could think of, true and untrue, to save his own skin, even if it meant turning on his own friends. He still ended up getting into a bit of trouble, but the trouble with his family and the law paled in comparison to the trouble that he got in with his friends. Nobody trusted him anymore, because in his moment of desperation, he showed his true colors.”

“In the verses here, Jesus had just told the disciples that one of them, Judas Iscariot, would betray him. Jesus knows full well that he is soon to be tortured, ridiculed, and crucified. How does Jesus react? By praising God! Right before his darkest hour, he glorifies God, admitting that he knows that his hour of glory is soon coming. He does not wiggle and squirm, trying to get out of his destiny. He shows bravery in his last moments, unlike my friend, and his name has been and will be glorified for eternity as a result.”

Prayer
Christ in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thou hast shown me the perfect example on how to live. I long to be like thee, living courageously even at my darkest hour. Give me the strength to follow in your footsteps, walking on the path to the Holy Kingdom. In thy name I pray, Amen.
