Cunningness is a curse

Cunningness is one trait that makes human seems or become evil in front of their own kind.

Cunningness supplements itself but leaves a mark of doubt on the people using and supplementing their lives through it.

In the end, even the genuine connections may seem faultered, or rather just a mix of manipulated efforts for individual benefits.

This way, even a good human may think of himself as a bad one. Cunningness in a good person, makes him vulnerable to doubts.

Those who are unable to tame it makes other feel unsure of the intent of the person.

Now, for those people who face this issue. There is a simple solution to it, and that is, to be selfless in approach, whenever addressing or acting for/or with others

This way, even the slightest of the interactions will be worthwhile. People won’t know you for your knowledge or how much long you have been with them but the way you make them feel. A selfless action even of a mere second is greater than actions out of desires and wants of self benefit.

yknow, a lot of people here talk about “good vs evil” or let’s say black vs white approach.
It isn’t how this world operates. The world isn’t black and white, it’s grey.
There’s absolutely nothing in this world that can’t have a useful purpose, from the hate in your heart (which can fuel you for your goals) to nuclear materials. The key is not to go overboard with these.

Even narcissism can be useful, if you know how to use it. You just have to learn to use it properly.

Even jealousy can fuel your grit, because you can use it to be better than the person you’re jealous of.

These traits in human evolution aren’t there simply for the sake of it, they are there because they help us survive.

If a person is sure of himself on the reasons why he is doing it, there shouldn’t be any doubts. And if you have doubts, then you shouldn’t do it. But cunningness as such isn’t “evil”, because it can help you survive.

those who face this issue can’t be selfless in the first place. and being selfless is overrated. You’re not a saint, you shouldn’t try to be one. An idealistic selfless heroic personality can’t work in the real world.
The key to this issue is the reason on why you are doing it and are people getting hurt with that? If they are, then you drop it. But plenty of times, that might not be the case.

says who? And if you keep being selfless regardless of how others act with you, how do you think consequences can be? Do you think even the people in your family are always loving and caring for you? Well that might be your case, but do you think that holds true for every human on this planet?

I’ll demonstrate with an example. A flowing wind just flows. You think wind is evil? It can be a slow breeze of a ferocious tornado(that takes lives or destroys homes or whatever else). In both the cases, the wind is just doing what it is supposed to do - i.e. flow.
But in the 2nd case it has gone overboard because of weather imbalance.

That’s how the whole world operates, in a very delicate balance. There are millions of types of entities working here, and they just do what they are supposed to do. They cancel each other out in such a way that the world is formed and behaves the way we see it. But sometimes that balance is broken. When that happens, disasters appear. Nothing else.
