Week 13 - Oct 21, Mon - Streak: 57 days
@Uroldor Thanks man! But actually I haven’t made it to 12 weeks, just been doing this challenge for 12 weeks. My current Streak is 56 days which I am still happy with tho!
Keep going strong yourself, 8 days is awesome, getting past that first week is sometimes the hardest part!
@Positivebloke Saaame dude. I have been feeling that some of these past nights. Takes me about an hour to journal here, an important task, but precious time nonetheless. I’ll be rooting for you man! Stay strong during these busy times

As for me,
Felt kind of lonely today. First time in awhile I really wish I could find a girl that I click with. Haven’t thought about that as much since I was down in the dirt. And even now it’s not a horrible loneliness like when I was relapsing. It’s bearable. I just wish I was back in my home state, in my home city. Saw a post from one of my cousins down there and it just looks so nice. And I know I will find more people like me there, specifically girls. Again, I explained this awhile ago, but really there is surprisingly a huge culture difference in the state I live in now. It’s not as noticeable or significant until you start thinking about dating. People are just different here. They think different, they talk different, and they’re into different things.
It will probably be a couple more years here though so I can’t get too worked up about it. Got to finish school. On the plus side, that kind of forces me to be on a higher streak before I date. So that will be good.
Decided to actually start getting ready for bed like 3 hours early. So I actually got to do all the things that have been bothering me for a long time but that I have been too busy to fix. Did my pull-up sets. Changed my sheets and made my bed. Put all of my clean clothes away. Took a shower on time. So I feel good now.
And I’m getting sleep! Amazing.
Keep at it guys, we got this
Needed this quote tonight. From a great book by the way. Totally recommend it.
“The test is not a complex one: when the alarm goes off, do you get up out of bed, or do you lie there in comfort and fall back to sleep? If you have the discipline to get out of bed, you win—you pass the test. If you are mentally weak for that moment and you let that weakness keep you in bed, you fail. Though it seems small, that weakness translates to more significant decisions. But if you exercise discipline, that too translates to more substantial elements of your life.”
