What I meant to say was that the world they depicted and the reality we live in are vastly different. So, how do the attributes of a fictional character from an entirely different reality contradict ours?
I guess you are confusing the environmental settings and power level with reality.
Just like the fictional world is not all black and white, our reality is also like that.
Sure, ours is a more balanced version compared to the fictional one. But the difficulties faced by our heros is like our reality only, we also face similar issues.
Just that the fictional world is more exaggerated.
