Can masturbation from young age damage brain and body?

Hi all.

I am new to this forum.

I do apologise if this thread is in the wrong category. I have been abstaining from masturbation and gooning, PMO for 10 years now, but I wanted to ask something.

I started of masturbation at a very young age, perhaps around 7 or 8. I did this by rubbing myself over to clothing catalogues, particularly the lingerie section. I did this daily, and at one point when I was 9 years of age, I was able to ejaculate.

Soo I continued doing this everyday, ejaculating daily. I discovered â– â– â– â–  at around 11 years of age when I had my first PC. That was when my the gooning / edging started. So this went on all the way until my mid 20s.

I wanted to ask if anyone has had the same experience. I’ve been hypersexual for no reason as a kid, and it was daily ejaculating from age of 9.

Can this lead to brain and body damage?

Even when I was 8, I didn’t even hit puberty yet. Soo, I was likely shooting blanks. I can’t help but feel scared.

Can anyone else relate?

I started at the age of 12 and I am still fighting at the age of 34. What I can say from experience, the sooner you abstain from this, the better, because with age it becomes harder to fight.

However, you should know something: being interested in the opposite gender is OK and having sexual thoughts and exploring sexuality is normal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with sexual desire.

The most important is how you regulate your impulses. The brain is the most plastic and adaptable organ in the entire body. No matter how you have trained it to do something, it can change. Especially in the sexual aspect.

Thanks for your response bud.

But I feel starting at an earlier age like 7 and 8 is more dangerous. I just see that people starting at puberty age, but I have started at such an early age, not sure if I’ve done something to my mind.

What is you problem, i mean are you on pscho drugs ? Or your body has a condition or disease.

If done from a young age, it coud leave “marks“(behavioural patterns) that can еasily get “remembered” if you go back to them. They, at least from my own experience, can not be changed for good, but can be seriously reduced until becoming seriously insignificant by just not practicing them and doing something else instead of them. It could require some time, but it’s not impossible.

For example with me, I was very much into bdsm ■■■■. I could get erection only by watching this anf nothing else. During my biggest streak I was able to unwire this and started getting normal erections and normal sexual desire. And after I lost one of my old jobs I was devastated and started again and returned to it very fast. And now I’m unrewiring again, but I see the process is going faster this time.

Nothing is impossible.

I have derealisation but I feel it’s from over masturbation/ ejaculating since a young age.

What is this derealization ?

I don’t think you permanently damage yourself. Starting at a young age may have made the habit stronger, but that does not mean you can’t change it for this, you have to work on yourself, make your mind productive and utilize it in exercise and other activities. The fact that you stayed away from the PMO for years already shows that you are making progress.

Cant relate, but generally it affects emotions, focus, energy etc. Can affect body if your diet is not good like low stamina, weak body, skinny etc. It does not cause any serious harm though.

Derealisation can be from your addictiction since it affects your brain in many ways. These all are not permanent, can be fixed if you maintain a good lifestyle with good habits. For instance - good sleep.

You can do research to know more.
